This man
If you think that this man was creepy only in his films then you need to read his interviews and he comes out as absolutely misogynist person. Nobody has forgotten the infamous sting operation where he openly asked for s*xual favours and in the same breath also accused many top actresses of being s*xually promiscuous.
So from his older interviews, from 80s and 90s you will get some of the most pathetic comments of Mr.Shakti Kapoor on women.
- I don't like working women. I would like a woman to be dependent on me because that gives me a sense of authority and worth!!
2. Bragging about r*ping heroines on screen and providing details of which heroine does he like r*ping on screen (I mean seriously how sick one needs to be to say this)
3. And what's more disgusting. He names his sister in law Padmini Kolhapure as the one whom he likes r*ping the most on screen and the one who he finds s*xy after his wife. (Again what the hell)
4. Openly admiting to going after women, having affairs despite being married and flirting with girls in parties just to feel important and desirable.
Even his wife was fed up of all his antics and openly said in press that she will not leave him if he finds him cheating as it will give him a free pass rather she will make his life a hell. In the same breath she acknowledged that Shakti Kapoor is used to making passes at woman after drinking in parties that too in front of his wife!!
While most of the on screen villains like Amrish Puri, Gulshan Grover, Pran, Prem Chopra and Ranjeet were/are decent men in real life, Shakti Kapoor appears to be equally lecherous in reel and real life.
