Which prominent celebrity disappeared from the spotlight gracefully and with very little notice?

The beautiful Cameron Diaz. In 2015, she said she was tired of acting and retired to her ranch, what a shame.

Rick Moranis. In the '80s, he was everywhere, then the death of his wife and the burden of caring for their two children forced him to take a break from filmmaking, a break that became a true retreat.

Before his recent death, Gene Hackman said he had no intention of returning in front of the camera because he didn't recognize himself in today's films.

Sidney Poitier. The greatest black actor, along with Denzel Washington, hadn't acted since 1997's The Jackal with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere. He died at 95, and we never saw him on the big screen again.

Amanda Bynes. Throughout the decade from 2000 to 2010, she was one of the most sought-after stars, then in 2010 she said she was no longer interested in acting and retired. She recently said she might return to acting, let's hope so.

Sean Connery. Furious after the mega-flop of The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen in 2003, which he also produced, he decided to retire and never return to film. Before his death, he was active in politics, having been a strong supporter of Scottish independence from the United Kingdom.

Which Bollywood celebrity, actor, or actress do you feel sad about because you thought that person had great unfulfilled potential?

 Chandrachur Singh

He was one actor who hold promise and could have had a good career ahead but his career ended shortly because of a freak accident.

Chandrachur Singh may not have the best of acting or dancing abilities but he had a charm which helped him work in lead or second leads. He made a great debut with the National Award Winning film Maachis by Gulzar which won him the Filmfare Best Debut award. He followed the same year with the moderate success Tere Mere Sapne which was also the debut of Arshad Warsi as a lead actor (though the same pair failed very badly in Betaabi). In the next 3–4 years he had hits like Daag the Fire, Kya Kehna and Josh even though he was not a single lead in any of these films but he made a steady career in two hero or multi starrer movies.

But in 2001 during his birthday celebrations he suffered a major accident in Panjhim, Goa which dislocated his shoulders and he was bedridden for months. The recovery was difficult but the comeback was almost impossible. His films got shelved and he was out of work. He had a few delayed releases here and there but those films failed badly including Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya which gained good popularity on TV. He could have worked for a few more years before transitioning to character roles but his potential could never be properly realised.

Recently he came into limelight for the bulldozer action in the Noida colony with illegal extensions which were striked down by the authorities. He did had a good role in the web series Aarya a few years ago but now he appears a bit out of shape and doesn't appear to be bothered much about his film careeer (he comes from an affluent family).

Which celebrity/historical figure has a dark past that everyone seems to ignore?

  • Abraham Lincoln.
He is known as the president who abolished slavery in America in 1865. But many people do not know that he did this solely for the political stability of the country.
In a presidential debate in 1858, he himself had stated that he did not believe in racial equality or that Black people should be allowed to vote.
  • Winston Churchill.
In Europe, everyone sees him as a good man who played an important role in stopping World War II.
After the First World War, the Ottoman Empire fell apart, and the British controlled a few parts of it in the Middle East at the time due to conflict.
And this is what he had written in a memo: "I am strongly in favour of using poisoned gas against uncivilised tribes" when the British were there in 1919.
Also, under his leadership, millions of Indians died of famine when the British still held India.
  • Nelson Mandela,
the former South African president, is a massive symbol of civil rights who spent nearly three decades in prison protesting against the apartheid regime. While
most people believe his imprisonment was due to mere racism, the fact is that Mandela belonged to a terrorist splinter group of the African National Congress that employed sabotage, torture, and rigid tactics in their operations and was collectively responsible for over 130 deaths.
In 1961, he broke with fellow African National Congress members who advocated non-violence, creating a terrorist wing.
Mandela even proposed cutting off the noses of Black people considered collaborators.
  • Mahatma Gandhi
is known for making India independent from the British in a loving and peaceful way.
However, he did not always practice what he preached.
Despite this, he had many affairs with women.
He is said to have slept right next to underage girls.
And he also said racist things about Black South Africans.
  • Martin Luther King
had prostitutes and relationships with as many as 40 women.
And he also plagiarized a number of works.

Which celebrities are also successful and upstanding in real life?

I would recommend Natalie Portman.

  • Born in Jerusalem, she moved to the United States at the age of three and now holds dual citizenship in both the United States and Israel .
  • Portman began dancing at the age of four and belonged to a local theater group. At the age of 10, she was approached by a Revlon agent to become a child model, but she declined in order to focus on her acting career . In a magazine interview, Portman said that she was "different from other kids." "I was more ambitious, I knew what I liked and what I wanted, and I worked hard. I was a very serious child," she said.
  • She was a bright girl. During her student years, Portman co-authored two research papers published in science journals. Her high school paper, "A Simple Method to Demonstrate the Enzymatic Production of Hydrogen from Sugar," published in 1998, was submitted to Intel Science Talent Search. She even missed the premiere of a film she starred in (Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace) to study for her high school final exams.
  • While continuing her acting career, she studied psychology at Harvard University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in 2003. She told the New York Post, "I don't care if academics ruin my career. I'd rather be smart than a movie star." During her time at Harvard, she stayed at Lowell House and contributed a letter to the Harvard Crimson in response to an essay criticizing Israel's actions against Palestinians. In 2002, while majoring in psychology at Harvard, she contributed to the memory study "Frontal Lobe Activation during Object Permanence: Data from Near-Infrared Spectroscopy." This paper made Portman one of the very few professional actors for whom the Erdős Bacon number has been defined.
  • Her film career : In 2001, Portman appeared in a production of Anton Chekhov's "The Seagull" at the Public Theatre in New York. In 2005, she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress for the drama "Closer." She also won a Constellation Award (Best Female Performance) and a Saturn Award (Best Actress) for her starring role in "V for Vendetta" (2006). She played leading roles in the historical drama "Goya's Ghosts" (2006) and "The Other Boleyn Girl" (2008). In May 2008, she became the youngest member of the jury at the 61st Cannes International Film Festival, and her directorial debut, "Eve," opened the short film competition at the 65th Venice International Film Festival in 2008. Impressive, isn't it?
  • In 2011, Portman starred as Nina Sayers in "Black Swan," winning an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, BAFTA Award, Screen Actors Guild Award, and Independent Spirit Award .

Fun facts

  • She speaks six languages . Portman has been interested in foreign languages since childhood and has studied French, Japanese, German, Hebrew, and Arabic.
  • Her ancestors were also capable people : Her paternal grandfather, who died in Auschwitz, was a professor of economics in Israel, and her great-grandmother, born in Romania, was reportedly a spy for British intelligence during World War II.
  • She has a famous twin sister . Portman bears a striking resemblance to fellow actress Keira Knightley.

Which Bollywood celebrities have a weird demand before signing a film?

These are Bollywood celebrities have a weird demand before a film.

  1. Salman Khan

Salman Khan is one of the biggest names in the Bollywood industry and there are people who would do anything to work with him. Salman has one big demand for all the movies that he signs and it is that all his films should be free of any intimate scenes and he would not at all kiss on-screen. People would generally accept what Salman asks for because they know that getting Salman in the film means huge success.

2. Kangana Ranaut

Kangana Ranaut is one of the smartest women out there in Bollywood. She is full of her starry tantrums and therefore, does not want to involve herself for any queries and questions thrown her way. She clearly directs all of them to her personal assistant who has to take care of all of the questions and queries. Kangana gets involved only when it is required. Also, Kangana does this to keep herself away from any lame drama.

3. Sonakshi sinha

You probably didn’t see any on screen kissing thing in her movies, because she is not comfortable with it and always follows this clause before signing any Bollywood projects.

4. Hrithik Roshan

This person is no less than a Greek God when it comes to looks. He has that perfectly chiseled body that would attract even the most beautiful girls. Therefore, Hrithik does deserve all that attention and time. Of course, anyone in Hrithik’s shoes would not want to pause his workouts. So, every time Hrithik signs a movie, he demands the best gym in the town so he could maintain his fitness. He also has his own personal chef that goes with him everywhere.

5. Kareena Kapoor

One of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Bollywood cannot be found in a movie unless there is an A list actor starring in the movie. Kareena has this demand that she would only star in a movie if there is an A list Bollywood star acting in the movie. There might be some of the very talented people starring in the movie but nothing can convince Kareena unless an A-lister is present.

6. Akshay Kumar

Akshay understands the importance of relaxing and rest in one’s life and therefore demands a day off every Sunday so that he can relax and have some time with his family. It’s very important for a hardworking actor like him who juggles between multiple projects at the same time, to have some rest. Though Akshay has flouted his own demand when working for movies like Once Upon A Time in Mumbai Dobara and Brothers.

Who is the most misogynistic Bollywood celebrity? Why?

 This man

If you think that this man was creepy only in his films then you need to read his interviews and he comes out as absolutely misogynist person. Nobody has forgotten the infamous sting operation where he openly asked for s*xual favours and in the same breath also accused many top actresses of being s*xually promiscuous.

So from his older interviews, from 80s and 90s you will get some of the most pathetic comments of Mr.Shakti Kapoor on women.

  1. I don't like working women. I would like a woman to be dependent on me because that gives me a sense of authority and worth!!

2. Bragging about r*ping heroines on screen and providing details of which heroine does he like r*ping on screen (I mean seriously how sick one needs to be to say this)

3. And what's more disgusting. He names his sister in law Padmini Kolhapure as the one whom he likes r*ping the most on screen and the one who he finds s*xy after his wife. (Again what the hell)

4. Openly admiting to going after women, having affairs despite being married and flirting with girls in parties just to feel important and desirable.

Even his wife was fed up of all his antics and openly said in press that she will not leave him if he finds him cheating as it will give him a free pass rather she will make his life a hell. In the same breath she acknowledged that Shakti Kapoor is used to making passes at woman after drinking in parties that too in front of his wife!!

While most of the on screen villains like Amrish Puri, Gulshan Grover, Pran, Prem Chopra and Ranjeet were/are decent men in real life, Shakti Kapoor appears to be equally lecherous in reel and real life.

What are some of the most mind-blowing celebrity facts?

Mark Ruffalo once had a dream and unlike ordinary ones it felt unusually real and uncomfortable, with a very specific message. Mark got so rattled by it that without wasting any time, he walked straight into a doctor's office and told them, I dreamt last night that I have a brain tumor.

Actor Mark Ruffalo

Now at this point Mark didn't have any tell tale signs of brain tumor like headaches, visual disturbances or pain. He was just battling an annoying ear infection. The doctor at first told him it was just a dream, but when he insisted, they ran tests and the results ended up shocking everybody in the room.

Mark really had a mass the size of a golf ball behind his left ear. The dream had somehow warned him.

The Doctor told him to get the surgery immediately. Mark hesitated, his wife was 9 months pregnant and just days away from giving birth. Not wanting to worry her, Mark silently went ahead with the surgery.

The surgery had its risks, the doctors told him it had a 70% chance of permanent deafness in the left ear and a 20% chance of facial paralysis. Mark went ahead anyway and it ended up saving his life, though he lost his hearing in the left ear permanently. But he stated he has no regrets about it.

It’s pretty amazing that the guy who plays Hulk in reel life got saved by a dream in real life. Even superheroes have a guardian angel.

What is the weirdest or most unusual thing a celebrity has ever bought with their first paycheck?

 Brie Larson

Brie recalls she bought an electric blue guitar. Knowing me and my love for guitar playing I probably would’ve done the same. Except I’d get an acoustic.

Donald Glover

Donald Glover also bought candy with his first big check! He says he wasn’t allowed to eat Gushers as a kid. So he bought Gushers and other candy.

Caleb McLaughlin

Caleb spent his money on sneakers. As a teen myself this is not surprising. “There were these sneakers called Jordan Wings that I bought," he says.

Which celebrity lost her hard-earned fame and prestige by a single mistake?

It has to be Mamta Kulkarni. She made her debut in 1992 with Tirangaa and in 1993 starred in Aashiq Awara which won her a Filmfare Award of New Face of the year. She was a part of some good films like Waqt Hamara Hai, Krantiveer, Baazi, Karan Arjun, Sabse Bada Khiladi etc.

Things started changing when she played a cameo in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ghatak. The director signed her for China Gate but their relations soured and there were news that she was dropped from the film. She used the influence of gangster Chota Rajan to get back in the film. This was the start of her bad phase as she was not able to get films due to underworld connection and later she married Vicky Goswami who is a international drug dealer.

Had she not used the influence to get back in the film she would have received offers from other directors but due to this mistake everyone tried to stay away from her.
