Which Bollywood celebrity, actor, or actress do you feel sad about because you thought that person had great unfulfilled potential?

 Chandrachur Singh

He was one actor who hold promise and could have had a good career ahead but his career ended shortly because of a freak accident.

Chandrachur Singh may not have the best of acting or dancing abilities but he had a charm which helped him work in lead or second leads. He made a great debut with the National Award Winning film Maachis by Gulzar which won him the Filmfare Best Debut award. He followed the same year with the moderate success Tere Mere Sapne which was also the debut of Arshad Warsi as a lead actor (though the same pair failed very badly in Betaabi). In the next 3–4 years he had hits like Daag the Fire, Kya Kehna and Josh even though he was not a single lead in any of these films but he made a steady career in two hero or multi starrer movies.

But in 2001 during his birthday celebrations he suffered a major accident in Panjhim, Goa which dislocated his shoulders and he was bedridden for months. The recovery was difficult but the comeback was almost impossible. His films got shelved and he was out of work. He had a few delayed releases here and there but those films failed badly including Aamdani Atthani Kharcha Rupaiya which gained good popularity on TV. He could have worked for a few more years before transitioning to character roles but his potential could never be properly realised.

Recently he came into limelight for the bulldozer action in the Noida colony with illegal extensions which were striked down by the authorities. He did had a good role in the web series Aarya a few years ago but now he appears a bit out of shape and doesn't appear to be bothered much about his film careeer (he comes from an affluent family).
