This is a Bugatti Type 41, also called the Bugatti Royale.
It was meant to compete with Rolls Royce, Maybach and Mercedes Benz in the luxury class.
But they had chosen a bad time, the Great Depression, and the project failed.
Only six were built.
Here you see it in 1932 with its owner, Jean Bugatti, the son of the company founder.
