- It is considered illegal to capture photos of Eiffel Tower at night as its light display is considered an artwork which is protected by copyright law.
- During 1880’s - 7,799,401.31 (In French Gold) was the cost to build Eiffel Tower (currently equivalent to $36 Million or 3,22,16,209 Euro or 2,40,08,38,200 INR).
- Ever wanted to build your own Eiffel Tower? There's a LEGO set for that - number 10181 (it contains 3,428 bricks).
- In 1905 a local newspaper organised a stair climbing championship at the tower. A M.Forestier won, taking three minutes and 12 seconds to reach the second level.
