- Ravana keeping the elixir of immortality inside his stomach as per Brahma's wish.
- Ravana carrying a large Shiva lingam from Kailasha and being tricked by Ganesha into abandoning the Lingam at a place called Mahabaleshwar.
- Ravana being a part of Sita's swayambara and failing to lift the Shiva dhanush.
- Lord Rama installing Shiva Lingam at Rameswaram and worshipping the Lingam prior to his advent in Lanka.
- Lord Rama performing a sacrifice to satisfy goddess Durga in the battlefield of Lanka and requesting Ravana to be the presiding priest of his sacrifice.
- Ravana ordering Surya to obstruct the path of Hanuman and fight with him.
- Ravana having a son named Tarani who was an ardent devotee of Narayana.
- Lord Rama killing Tarani in the war and giving him salvation by showing the supreme form of Narayana.
- Mandodari (Ravana's wife) praising Sita's devotion to Lord Rama.
- Mandodari comparing Sita to goddesses like Sachi and Rohini.
- Hanuman going to Mandodari disguised as a brahmin to seek the lethal arrow for Ravana's destruction. The truth is that Lord Rama possessed Brahmastra meant to kill Ravana.
- Mahiravana carrying Rama and Laxmana in Patala to offer the two brothers as oblation at the altar of Goddess Mahamaya. The truth is that the character Mahiravana didn't exist at all.
- Ravana having the boon from Brahma that he would die only if Brahmastra is fired in his navel. The truth is that Ravana died when Lord Rama's Brahmastra pierced his heart.
- Goddess Lankeshwari (a form of Durga) being the presiding deity of Ravana's Lanka. The truth is that Ravana was always insolent of his pride and didn’t worship any deity.
- Ravana being able to recognize Lord Rama as an avatar of Narayana before his death.
- Mahiravana carrying Lord Rama and Laxman in Patal loka to offer the corpses of the two brothers as oblation at the altar of Goddess Mahamaya.
- Maya Sita taking her revenge upon Ravana. Such form of Sita never really existed.
