On 5 February 2015, Ghoshal married her childhood friend Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya in a traditional Bengoli ceremony Before getting married, Ghoshal dated him for almost 10 years.
According to Ghoshal, apart from being a singer, she loves to travel and read books but it's cooking that has a healing effect on her.
Her wedding to Shiladitya was a low-key affair, about which, her friends from the industry came to know only after the ceremony got
over on Thurday, February 5. The couple followed Bengali wedding rituals complete with piri ghorano, subho drishti and sindoor-daan.
Born to a well-to-do Bengali family with a rich heritage, Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya is an electronics engineer by profession.
Both Shreya and Shiladitya had done their schooling together and both of them knew each other from their school days. Shiladitya did his engineering from the University of Mumbai and has a company named Rasilant Tech
