What is more mysterious, the universe or the Earth's oceans?

From the endless universe to deepest point of ocean….we know more about space than ocean.

The fact is that we've sent 12 people to the moon since 1969 over a handful of missions; only three people have descended to the deepest part of the ocean in the Mariana Trench.

Mariana Trench

It's often said that 95% of ocean is unexplored and there are large number of unknown species yet to be discovered.

But on the other hand, our outer space exploration is quite amazing!!

Hubble Space Telescope

Hubble Space Telescope allows up to see us up to 13 billion light years away but we don't know much about the deepest point which is just seven-and-a-half miles down and seems more mysterious!!

Studying the ocean is really hard because the pressure exerted by the water above is enormous. It's the equivalent of one person trying to support 50 jumbo jets. It's also dark and cold.

Unlike space where you can see forever but once you're down in the ocean you can't see anything because it's deep enough that light can't shine. It's a challenging place to study!!

Satellites are great for giving us that broad picture of the surface of the ocean. We can measure temperature, the ocean colour, the winds, the waves, sea level and what not?.. So, In my opinion, oceans are more mysterious than Space!!
