What are some financial tips for middle class people?

  1. Avoid school and college friends who bring attention towards your insecurity and life struggle. It might feel good for a while that they are sympathetic but they keep you stuck in a mindset that you don't deserve abundance.
  2. Don't take credit cards for personal shopping. Once you'll normalise it, you'll be stuck with long term liability. Use it for international payments or big offers if needed.
  3. Don't take loans if not needed, specially personal loans. Education, business and housing loan charge least interest rate and necessary sometimes, but other loans are just your ego trying to maintain a posh life like HNI (high net worth individual).
  4. Don't compete with HNIs, influencers, content creator, people who show off, etc.
  5. Consumerism and capitalism breeds on insecurity and isolation. Try to find inner clarity rather than following crowd and doing what others are doing. It'll keep you at the same level with crowd.
  6. Learn real estate investment, nifty50, inflation.
  7. Invest in gold. Every generation regrets not investing in gold and housing.
  8. Understand that best invest is in yourself (skills and fitness) as it works as catalyst for earning more.
  9. Wealth creation is a boring, long-term process, not a get-rich-quick scheme. Don't rush or try to find shortcuts. I know many relatives and acquaintances who are struggling to survive and support their basic needs due to shortcuts told by others.
  10. Very important: Don't follow “rich dad poor dad” advice blindly, it's a great book, though the taxation law differs in US and India. It'll be misleading and ignorant if you'll blindly follow his advices.

What are some financial tips for middle class people?

 1. Minimize imitation in lifestyle. We should be aware of the essential things our family needs. Beyond showing luxury, we should aim for financial security.

Buy the things we need. Use things like dress, electronics items, vehicles, etc. carefully. Never make a habit of changing electronics items frequently.

2. Recurring deposits are often underrated. Keep some money as a recurring deposit. Use any of the Fixed Deposit, PPF, Mutual Funds, etc. as much as you can.

3. Get a good family health insurance policy as soon as possible. The earlier you join, the lower the premium will be.

4. Learn to use credit card properly.

5. If you can create a vegetable garden at home, do it.

6. Make the most of opportunities to generate extra income.
