Which foods do people think are healthy but are actually unhealthy?

  • Almost everything that comes from a packet no matter how healthy it is being advertised.
  • As a rule of thumb - the lesser the ingredients better the product. And always always check the ingredients.
  • Low Sugar/ Low fat food. Most of the times to compensate one thing they add something else that retains the taste but is equally un-healthy.
  • No sugar chocolates (Not all) - Most of the times they instead add a substitutes of sugar which are equally bad if not more.
  • Milk and milk products that we get - If you are not using milk or milk products from Desi A2 Cow (which is fed organically). Pure A2 milk is considered as amrit/amrut/elixir of life in Ayurveda. The normal milk that we get in India is usually loaded with pesticides and antibiotics.
  • Mixing fruits with meals or immediately after meals.
  • Brown Bread(most)- You might want to see the ingredients on the package. Most of the breads would be made of refined flour with a brown color , hence “brown bread”.
  • Yakult/most energy bar/ flavoured yoghurt- Loaded with sugar.

Do you think Chinese people have creativity?

This is China's national College Entrance Exam, aka Gaokao.

China is seriously serious about gaokao! Chinese Students Could Face 7 Years in Jail for Exam Cheating. So serious that the streets around the testing locations have police guards, passers-by who cause noise during testing days would be fined!

Students must go through security, photo ID, and fingerprint checks.

Surveillance command center inside.

Checking radio signals outside.

If you think Chinese teachers are over-reacting, that’s because you don’t know how Chinese students CHEAT! How CREATIVE and Hi-Tech Chinese can be when it comes to gaokao cheating. Here we go….

Chinese students were caught using high-tech pens that could record the test answers, which were then transmitted to someone outside, who would relay the answers back via an in-ear receiver.

Yes, even shirts were wired up for cheating! On the inside of this shirt, a miniature camera wired up to a mobile phone. Pictures are taken, sent to someone outside, and answers are relayed back via an in-ear receiver.

These normal-looking glasses were equipped with a camera activated by a remote shutter coin. By pressing the coin, it would send monochrome photos to someone outside, how they relayed answers back is STILL UNKNOWN…..

This earring is a receiver! Secret agent tech gadget.

This is a real watch and works perfectly fine. The transparent shell is a display, by key operation, you can control the screen display.

Also in erasers.

Thumb size.

Even as thin as ruler.

These are the known techniques, imagine the unknown…

This is less than 0.01% of everyday Chinese creativity.

Why do rich people choose to fly on private jets instead of airlines?

One of the joys of being wealthy is being able to buy your way out of the inconveniences that the rest of us face. Flying private means you don't have crowded airports, long waits, the plane leaves on your schedule, no baggage claim carousel, no crying babies on the flight, lots of leg space and comfortable chairs, good food/beverages, total privacy and tons of time saved.

You call the company and tell them your address and destination address and just wait for the limo to arrive. It'll take you to the airport where the plane will take you to your destination and a limo at the far end takes you to the building you want.

No security, no lines - car to plane in five minutes. It's a custom-made nonstop flight on the right plane for the job. It also gives you a lot more options for airports as the airlines only serve a fraction of the available airports. If you fly commercial, getting to places like Vail, Jackson Hole, or Majorca can take two or three flights. With the right aircraft, you may be able to fly non-stop from Sardy Field to London City.

Most people who travel privately do it mostly for domestic travel. Many people will fly privately from their home city into a bigger airport and then catch their international connection on a commercial flight. You can instruct for inflight catering and it can be anything you can imagine. If it's international, you have to wait for a customs agent to board the plane, check and stamp your passport - you're now cleared through customs, right on the aircraft.

If you are a wealthy or famous person, there may be people who dislike you or who have mental or emotional issues that prevent them from controlling their behavior while on an airplane. With private jets, you do not have to worry about that. You can ensure that everyone on the aircraft is an employee of the company under some NDA.

Will people in hell go to heaven after they’ve get enough punishment?

Yes. Both swarga (Heaven) and Naraka (Hell) are temporary.

Whether a person goes to heaven or hell first depends upon their karma

O bull among men! There are accumulations of good and bad deeds. A person who enjoys the good deeds earlier, goes to hell later. A person who goes to hell first, enjoys heaven later. A person who has committed many wicked deeds may enjoy heaven first.

  • 1, Swargarohana parva, Mahabharata.

We see an example of this in the story of king Nriga where Yama asks him whether he will like to enjoy heaven first for his good deeds or suffer first in hell for his sin

Yama worshipped me and spoke these words. “O king! There is no end to the number of auspicious deeds you have performed. But there is a sin, even if you committed it inadvertently. Do you wish to suffer for the sin earlier or later? It shall be as you wish. You promised that you would protect. You took a false pledge. You seized the possession of a brahmana. These are the three aspects to the sin you committed.”

I replied, “O lord! I shall suffer from the sin first. Let the auspicious benefits come later.”

  • 69, Dana Dharma parva, Mahabharata.

Once your merits have run out, you are reborn on earth

When they have enjoyed the vast pleasures of heaven, the stock of their merits being exhausted, they return to the earthly plane. Thus, those who follow the Vedic rituals, desiring objects of enjoyment, repeatedly come and go in this world.

  • Gita 9.21.

Beings reborn on earth many times after residing in hell or heaven till the day they achieve Moksha

The gods in heaven are beheld by the inhabitants of hell, as they move with their heads inverted; whilst the god, as they cast their eyes downwards, behold the sufferings of those in hell. The various stages of existence, Maitreya, are inanimate things, fish, birds, animals, men, holy men, gods, and liberated spirits; each in succession a thousand degrees superior to that which precedes it: and through these stages the beings that are either in heaven or in hell are destined to proceed, until final emancipation be obtained.

  • Chapter 6, Book 2, Vishnu Purana.

This is why Rishi Mudgala rejected going to heaven and instead solely pursued attaining Moksha

When Moudgalya heard these words, he reflected on them in his mind. Having thought about them, the best of sages replied to the messenger of the gods. ‘O messenger of the gods! | bow down before you. O father! Please go, according to your wishes. If there are such great taints, i have nothing to do with heaven or happiness. There will be great unhappiness at the time of the fall, by those who have enjoyed heaven. There will be extremely terrible regret. Therefore, i do not desire heaven. I will only look for the infinite region where there is no sorrow, unhappiness or dislodging, once one has traversed the path and has reached there.”

Having spoken these words, the sage gave the messenger of the gods permission to leave. He returned to a life of collecting rice and achieved supreme serenity. He looked on praise and blame equally. A brick, a stone and a piece of gold were the same to him. Through the yoga of knowledge, he was always engaged in meditation. Having obtained strength through the yoga of meditation, he obtained supreme wisdom. He attained the eternal and supreme success, the marks of supreme salvation.

Why didn't people on the Titanic use wooden furniture to stay afloat?

Despite there being a lot of floating debris left after the Titanic disappeared underwater the victims never had a chance as they were soaked in near-freezing water that would have killed them, even if they could avoid other panicking people and remain composed and focused enough to attempt finding and lashing pieces of debris together and getting out of the water.

While the majority of the death certificates issued stated the cause of death as drowning, the vast majority in fact died from hypothermia. Let’s be clear, they “did.” Specifically, when (untrained) people unintentionally go overboard or fall into water, one of the first things they reactively do (often in a panic) is try to grab anything around them to keep themselves afloat. But more importantly, unlike how the movie portrayed it, the act of using floating debris to survive is far more complicated than it sounds. For example, even if a chair floats, you can’t exactly just sit or stand on it while it’s in the water - unless you have incredible knowledge of ocean physics and balancing strength.

People indeed used the debris to try to keep themselves afloat. Sudden immersion into freezing water typically causes death within minutes, either from cardiac arrest, uncontrollable breathing of water, or cold incapacitation; almost all of those in the water died of cardiac arrest or other bodily reactions to freezing water within 15–30 minutes.

The main problem all of the passengers faced when abandoning ship was extreme cold, not drowning. As for trying to put together a makeshift raft, few probably had the skills to do so. Even if they did, with panic and chaos all around, being denied access to the lifeboats, and the ship sinking right underneath of them, most were likely not in a state of mind where they would be able to put together a makeshift raft out of furniture or other items.

How do people get rich from stocks?

Story of $100 to $2 Billion.

The guy sitting on this chair is “Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.”

As a child, he was so much interested in stock markets, because of his passion for the stock market he started trading very early in his life.

Jhunjhunwala bought six crore shares of Titan in 2002-03 at an average price of around Rs 3. The stocks were priced(in 2014) trading at 390 Rs level, and his investment increased from 18 crores to 2100 crores.

He made many more so-called “ high valued” investments.

“No doubt, he is smart in his ways. But there is always a bit of luck and loads of hard work and research involved.”

  • He believes in making mistakes.
  • If you don’t admit that it is your mistake, you will never learn, so make hell lot of mistakes and get over it asap.
  • Getting up early in the morning gives you a “head start.”

Who are the most famous people to never have a father?

Da Vinci is not his real name.

Yes, I’m still talking about the guy who painted the original Mona Lisa, good ol’Leo.

Leonardo was an illegitimate child. His father left after impregnating his mother, hence is true birth name was a singular Leonardo. (Source: What Was Leonardo's Name? Isaak, Shelly)

Leonardo did have a father but not a man he could lay claim to as his legal father due to his illegitimacy. His father ended up marrying 4 different times and had 7 children along the way, who of course, later fought over his estate.

Leonardo was able to at least claim ties to his biological father and avoid being branded a bastard child.

But his last name Da Vinci simply originates from his having been born near a town named Vinci. (Da Vinci = from Vinci)
