What actor and actress in a mega-hit movie were never re-teamed?

Generally when a romantic film becomes a blockbuster the pair is repeated again and again to encash their popularity. But there is a rare case when a romantic pair was never repeated despite delivering the biggest hits of their career.

Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor

Both of them had worked together in Andaz Apna Apna together in 1994 but they were not paired together. So the only film they co starred was Raja Hindustani. A mix of Jab Jab Phool Khile and Pyar Jhukta Nahin this film was a massive blockbuster earning 45 crores nett and was the highest grosser of 1996 and 4th highest grosser of the entire 90s (After HAHK, DDLJ and KKHH). Both the actors won the Best Actor and Best Actress Filmfare Respectively. And despite all this they never worked together again.

After the success of Raja Hindustani Karishma Kapoor became the number 1 actress of the industry and decided to be choosy with her films. Aamir was already known to be a choosy actor. After she won a National award in 1997 she became even more choosy and didn't had any release in 1998. And since 2000 she chose to work in heroine centric films like Fiza, Shakti, Zubeida. And the only other director Shekhar constantly worked with was David Dhawan. Aamir offcourse never fit in the mould of David Dhawan movie.

So we could never saw this very successful pair together again.

What things should you never do in Germany as a tourist?

Below are a few small things I've noticed since I started living here, and these might be very useful tips.

  1. NEVER download movies, games, music, software, etc. through pirated channels! While browsing the internet might be considered a gray area, downloading is a serious offense here and you could face a hefty fine if caught.
  2. Although many sections of theAutobahn(Highways) have no speed limit, although some sections do. Take them seriously.
  3. If you happen to be driving or walking along the road and witness an accident or someone being injured, you MUST call 112 to report an emergency, even if you didn't help the person. Ignoring an injured person and simply walking away is a crime.
  4. Pedestrians always have the highest priority on the road.
  5. While Germans can be loud during a soccer match, they generally prefer peace and quiet. Try not to be noisy at your accommodation. You could receive a warning from the police if your neighbor takes it too seriously.

Edit: I forgot to mention the most important thing. That would be point 0.

Never forget to validate your ticket in Germany if you're traveling on public transport. Even if you've bought a ticket, if you haven't validated it, it's the same as traveling without one.I know it sounds ridiculously stupid, but that's how DB (Deutsche Bahn) has done it.Your ticket is considered validated only if it has a date and time stamp.Generally, a weekly, monthly, or annual pass doesn't need validation, as they are pre-validated with the dates. But I assume that as a tourist you can't buy monthly passes.

There are DB employees who wear ordinary clothes and travel with you on trains. You'll never notice them until they show their ID and start checking passengers and asking for tickets. They especially frequent airport routes where there are more tourists. This is because the more people they catch without tickets, the more commission they can earn.

What will you never be able to understand?

Why people take cruises.

You get stuck in a floating prison and you can't get out.

Every now and then the prison stops, you can go out for a few hours and then you come back with crowds of other prisoners.

And these ships are incredibly dirty floating cities.

Strange, they always say we shouldn't fly, but these things seem to have a super lobby.

By the way, that's the Wonder on the Sea in the photo, the largest cruise ship in the world.

It has 18 decks, a crew of 2,300, can carry a maximum of 6,988 passengers and weighs more than 236,000 gross tons.

A floating Disneyland monster.

I'm sure many people find it luxurious, but to me it's a horror.

They look like those tourist villages under the dome to me.

An artificial world.

I wouldn't take a cruise here even if it were free.

What are some animals that most people have never seen before?

1.Finger Monkey: This is the smallest monkey in the world. It can grow upto 14 inches only.

2.Sea pig: It looks creepy

3. Ocean Sunfish: They spend half of the day in sunbathe

4. Naked mole rat: Totally naked!

5. Mudskipper: These are complete amphibious fishes. So, the can use their fins to walk on the land. Because they are amphibious, they are, unlike most fish, adapted to inter-tidal habitats. These are places where the tide of the ocean comes in and out. They hide under wet seaweed or in tidal pools to not get pulled away when the tide goes out. They are active when they are out of the water.

6. Lamprey: It is an eel-like creature that attacks its prey by attaching to it with circular rows of fairly nasty-looking teeth. Like an aquatic vampire, it is a parasite that often leaves its victim lifeless.

7. Sea Bunny: This is so Cute!

8.Lowland Streaked Tenrec:

9. Gerenuk:

10. Surinam Toad: It has no tongue. They give birth to their young ones in a very strange way.

The partners rise from the floor while in amplexus(mating position of toads) and flip through the water in arcs. During each arc, the female releases 3 to 10 eggs, which get embedded in the skin on her back by the male's movements. After implantation, the eggs sink into the skin and form pockets over a period of several days, eventually taking on the appearance of an irregular honeycomb. The larvae develop through to the tadpole stage inside these pockets, eventually emerging from the mother's back as fully developed toads, though they are less than an inch long (2 cm). Once they have emerged from their mother's back, the toads begin a largely solitary life.

After giving birth to the new toads, the mother slowly sheds the thin layer of skin that was used to birth them, and can begin the cycle again.

11. Sumatran rhino: World’s smallest and hairiest rhino

12. Oarfish:

13. Saiga Antelope:

It ends here. Thanks for watching :)

Can you tell me something I probably never knew?

Most people don’t know about the largest ship of all time:

The Knock Nevis was an Ultra Large Crude Carrier (ULCC) that sailed the oceans from 1979 to 2010. Throughout her career she had a bunch of names like Seawise GiantHappy GiantJahre VikingKnock Nevis, and Mont.

The ship was over 260,000 gross tons, had a displacement of 646,642 long tons when fully loaded, a length of 458.45 meters, a draft of 24.611 meters, a depth of nearly 30 meters, and an average speed of 16.5 knots. Her deck was nearly 7.8 acres and to put that into perspective, most houses in the United States are on a lot of 0.2 acres:

The ship was an absolute beast and was actually too big to safely navigate the English Channel, Suez Canal, and the Panama Canal. In clear weather, it took her two miles to make a complete turn around and five and a half miles to come to a complete stop.

To put the insane size of this ship into comparison, here she is up against some of the world’s tallest buildings:

Throughout the last half of the last century, the Suez Canal was closed multiple times due to instability in the region. This meant that ships had to sail all the way around Africa to get where they needed to go. Since it was now a much longer trip it made sense for companies to start building insanely large ships to make up for it. Because of the very unique situation that allowed this ship to exist in the first place, I doubt her record will be broken anytime soon.

In 1988 she was sunk during the Iran-Iraq War but was salvaged and returned to service. It was only in 2004 when she was laid up and 2010 when she went for scrap. If you thought Titanic was the largest ship out there, she is a kayak compared to this:

Why did not Shahrukh Khan and Kadar Khan work together?

Shahrukh Khan and Kader Khan never worked together. Kader Khan had a cameo in “Oh Darling Yeh Hai India”, as one of the bidders.

Though they were in the same location for a scene they did not had a dialogue exchange.

The main reason for their non-collabration was that their peak careers didn't perfectly overlap. During the initial stages, Shahrukh gained fame as an anti-hero followed by a romantic hero. At that time Kader Khan had just stepped out from villainous roles and was on his comedy streak especially with Govinda and David Dhawan.

Besides this, their preferred teams were different too. Kader Khan worked extensively with David Dhavan at that time while Shahrukh’s major collabrations were with Yash Chopra and Karan Johar.

Post - 2000s Kader Khan also had significant health issues which was later followed with a knee operation and wheel chair dependency which limited his participation in films.

So there was no professional conflicts between the two. The main reasons for their non-collabration was differences in their career timelines, lack of suitable opportunities and natural divergence of their individual film trajectories.
