First off, she acted like a hyper 13 year old more than a 17 year old in the park.
But also, she was visibly older looking than 17—because she was. At the time, she was 25 years old.
The most egregious example was in Grease:
They are all playing teenagers and basically none of them look like teenagers.
Stockard Channing (on the right):
Was playing a teenager while being 33-years-old.
Weird scene, bro. Not sure why studios can’t find more age appropriate people to play these parts.

The lead actress in the film, “Mela” is Twinkle Khanna. The original starcast in 1995 was supposed to be as Sunny Deol, Sunjay Dutt and Shilpa Shetty and the film was titled, “Jaanwar”.
Later, Kajol was also considered for the role but she had reservations to work with Aamir Khan. Aamir Khan has always been known as a perfectionist who gets into the minute details of every shot.
Kajol was uncomfortable with Aamir Khan’s requirement for extensive takes to achieve perfection. Describing herself as a “one-take” actor she preferred a different working style and therefore very graciously went to director Dharmesh Darshan’s house and expressed her discomfort to do the film.
The other reason can be that Kajol did not have a good time on the sets of, “Ishq” which also starred Aamir Khan. Kajol had mentioned that Aamir and Juhi Chawla shared a good bond and at times Kajol and Ajay Devgan felt left out. Even Indra Kumar was a good friend of Aamir Khan and the three were a sort of “close-knit group”. There were certain days on the set when Kajol was not willing to talk to anybody.
However, Kajol and Ajay Devgun indeed grew closer during the filming of Ishq and got married in 1999.
Later, Kajol was seen with Aamir Khan in “Fanaa” which released in 2006.

The 2026 best actress in Hollywood is also known as ‘the female equivalent of John Wick’, she was nominated for an Oscar for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in ‘Blonde’, she played Paloma, the extremely capable and deadly CIA agent in the 007 Bond Movie ‘No Time to Die’, where she enthralling captured 10 minutes of the film.
She is Ana De Armas, she earned a Golden Globe Nomination for ‘Blonde’ with People magazine praising her performance as “pure acting”. Her notoriety reached an even more pronounced level by her recently winning of the 2025 ‘Action Star of the Year Award’ at CinemaConn.
She has quite a resume in action films where she has a reputation for her engaging work ethic when preparing for these roles. Ana is especially known for her combat prowness and for the use of her physicality to captivate audiences.
Her preparation for ‘From the World of John Wick: Ballerina’, was intense, to say the least, she performed the vast majority of her own stunts, and her preparation for the part included practicing Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at, what was known as "the assassin boot camp" where she specialized in "Central Axis Relock" (CAR) tactical gun training.
She has also portrayed other notable roles beyond the action/adventure genre where she stood out for her acting prowess these films include: ‘Knives Out’ ‘Ghosted’, ‘The Grey Man’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’.
On top of all this she was very recently named: ‘The Most Beautiful Actress of 2025’ by ‘Ranked’, out placing the likes of Emily Blunt, Margot Robbie and Scarlett Johanson. Ana De Armas is in our present moment… ‘Best actress in Hollywood’.

Priyanka chopra's portrayal of an autistic girl was so awkward and not genuine. It just emphasised Bollywood high-handedness in actually figuring out symptoms of a developmental disorder and going beyond-
Priyanka Chopda did not deserve any awards for her blank expressions and awkward movements interspersed with wide-eyed slow blinking, which did not require any acting skills.
The problem is not just in this movie:
Aamir Khan who is supposed to be a good actor made such a mockery of people with disorders in his portrayal of a person with asperger's syndrome. He was so creepy and silly. So much for acting. Pathetic Pathetic.
IMHO, Hrithik Roshan's best role till date was in Koi Mil Gaya. He was a natural at being weird and talking in high pitched squeals and of c slow blinking. I have met several kids with developmental disorders and nobody(!) behaves like this.

Sean Penn in I am Sam.
People with development disorders are just caricatures in Bollywood movies just like any character which is slightly deviant from 'normal' - like LGBT, south-indians, feminists even.
At least we have progresses from a blanket term of 'pagal' for everything like in the movies of 70s-80s.
Moral of the story: Priyanka didn't deserve it.

Back when I was in university, there was a fellow student, who prior to studying her MBA worked at a PR/ Events agency. She worked projects ranging from Corporate, Political to Bollywood and other programs. She has inter-mingled with multiple personalities and said she NEVER EVER had a great experience working with Kareena Kapoor.
Apparently, she gave really bad elitist vibes. Now I dont blame the Bollywood stars for acting elitist in a country that puts them on a pedestal and gives them a demi-god status. But apparently, she goes a step further, way beyond the curve to treat daily wage employees like shit. This disrespect and treating people like peasants extended to her fans. Yup, the very people who help you with gainful employment, treat like lepers.
I really dont want to indulge nor hope I meet this person ever but I wouldn’t like to leave you on a negative note so I’ll post some of the people she said positive things about- She absolutely loved Vidya Balan (She apparently has a very kick ass sense of humour), Priyanka Chopra (focused, not the most friendliest but kept very professional), John Abraham (Was shrewd like a businessman but really personable- pretty sure she was fangirling), ShahRukh Khan (her exact words was he will sway you and have you fall for him, charming of the highest order and the sharpest mind/wit ever), Divya Dutta (very reserved, well-read, refined like fine wine- the kind of image Saif’s PR tries to make of him), Bomani Irani (such a happy chappy), Abhishek Bachchan (annoying and careless about work, goofing around), Tisca Chopra (Women of substance)
