Why did Mohd Rafi get replaced as the Number 1 male singer by Kishore Kumar in 1970, but no one could replace Kishore Kumar till his last day?

Spat : Film journalists claim, Rafi, a gentle soul, had a spat with Lata Mangeshkar over royalty issues.

Lata Mangeshkar wanted singers be paid royalty by producers.

But, Rafi believed singers were already paid by producer and appreciated by masses.
