What's the most dangerous stunt ever done for a movie?

 I can think of two.

There was Jackie Chan in POlice Story. He slid down five stories on a metal pole with live electrical lights, before crashing through the roof below.

Chan got 2nd degree burns on his body and also fractured his 7th and 8th vertebrae. And if that wasn’t enough, he also dislocated his pelvis.

And how about: Tom Cruise’s Halo Jump?

He was the major first actor to do a high altitude jump while filming a movie. The jump began at 25,000 feet in complete darkness. He was traveling over 150 mph and had to drop in a narrow landing zone.

Say what you will about Cruise, but that guy has gonads and goes for it on his movies.
