 Pooja Bhatt is the biological mother of Alia Bhatt. The conjugal affair of Mahesh Bhatt with his daughter Pooja is not a secret and the veteran director has indirectly claimed many times that Alia is his daughter with Pooja.

Mahesh has passionately spoken many times of his bonding with Pooja in a matrimonial affair and has indirectly left many hints only for others to brood over the fact.

For instance in one interview he couldn't resist anymore of his attraction towards his daughter.
