When was Vaishno Devi born?

Mā Vaiṣṇo Devī is Ādi Parāśakti, she is jananī of all. However, as part of her līlā, she took birth during the Tretāyuga, which is the same era in which Lord Rāma lived. She was created from the combined divine energies and powers of three supreme devi - Mahākālī, Mahālakṣmī, and Mahāsarasvatī. The goddesses created her with the specific purpose of establishing and protecting dharma during the Kaliyuga. Following the instructions of the supreme goddesses, she took birth as a human child in the home of Ratnākara Sāgara, a sea emperor in South India. When she was born, she was given the name Trikūṭā.
