Here is my take on it, again this is some facts that I observed, so please keep cool
1) Deepika Padukone- She was like a model, crush for Ranbir and they were an amazing pair. Just like college romance, they both wanted different things at different points. Ranbir’s family didnt want Deepika to marry him and he was like a playboy looking for more options, to date/flirt and this led ultimately to the breakup.
2) Katrina Kaif- She is the barbie doll kind of romance that every boy wishes, a dream come true as she is beautiful and a diva. Again Ranbir’s parents had issues due to her family background and her alleged relation with Salman Khan. Ranbir started a live in relationship with Katrina but he was mostly bored playing the nice boyfriend and just tolerated her in the relation. It was more of a physical attraction than mental.
3) Alia Bhatt- She had a huge crush on Ranbir since she was young and kind of idolized Ranbir. This was something new for Ranbir and she comes from the Bhatt family, again a known family in Bollywood. She is successful as an actor but still gave much time to Ranbir. She is young, talented and Ranbir thought why not (he is reaching 40’s) marry this girl who family also agrees. Alia even visited Rishi Kapoor when he was unwell and stood firm with Ranbir after his father Rishi’s death
