What is the most amazing archaeological site in the world?

You're looking at one of the world's greatest archaeological sites, Sigiriya, believed to be one of Ravana's palaces. Located in Sri Lanka, this amazing site is unlike anything else in the world, which is why it's also known as the 8th Wonder of the World. You might be wondering what's so special about this site. It's actually a huge monolithic rock, about 660 feet tall, and you can see it has a flat top, as if someone cut it with a giant knife. At the top are incredible ruins that are incredibly mysterious.

As you can see, there are many strange brick structures scattered here and there, and this is not only confusing for visitors, but even archaeologists don't fully understand what these structures were used for. They confirm that everything you see is at least 1,500 years old. But the mystery isn't what these structures are, it's how they were built. How did the ancient builders manage to transport all these bricks to the top of the cliff? It's said that at least three million bricks were found here, but building these bricks on top of the cliff would be impossible, as there isn't enough clay available. They had to transport these bricks from the ground.

Now, the truly bizarre thing is that there are no ancient stairs from ground level leading to the top of the rock. See, all these metal stairs were built in the last century. Without these new stairs, climbing this rock would be quite difficult. The entire rock is now covered with various types of stairs, spiral staircases at different levels. The ancient builders built very limited stairs, but these stairs certainly didn't reach the top. This is why even the locals didn't know about Sigiriya until 200 years ago because there were no stairs to the top. During the 1980s, the Sri Lankan government built stairs using metal pillars to make it a tourist destination and declared it a heritage site.

And that's why an Englishman named Jonathan Forbes "discovered" the ruins of Sigiriya in 1831. So how did early humans reach the top of Sigiriya? Let's assume it's possible to climb through these very steep, forested terrain. But to bring 3 million bricks from ground level, you'd need proper stairs. Without them, getting them to the top would be impossible. Even if we claim that the bricks were miraculously formed on the rock itself, the construction would have required hundreds of workers. How did they get their food? And what about tools? How did they carry their massive primitive tools? Where did they rest and sleep?

It's not just bricks, you can also find huge marble blocks. The milky white marble stones aren't native to this area. These blocks are actually very heavy, each stone forming a step weighs about 20-30 kilograms. And we can find thousands of marble blocks here. Experts agree that marble isn't found naturally anywhere nearby, so how were they transported to a height of 660 feet, especially without stairs? It also houses a large water tank. If you ignore the bricks and marble blocks around it, you realize this is the world's largest monolithic tank made of granite. It wasn't built by joining stone blocks; it was created by removing granite, carving tons and tons of granite from solid rock.

The entire tank is 90 feet long, 68 feet wide, and nearly 7 feet deep. This means at least 3,500 tons of granite were removed. So, you might actually want to sit back and think for a minute about whether mainstream archaeologists are right. If humans were using primitive tools like chisels, hammers, and axes on granite, one of the hardest rocks in the world, it would have taken years to remove 3,500 tons. And how did these workers support themselves over all these years when they didn't even have stairs to reach ground level? There's something fundamentally wrong with mainstream history books that talk about ancient people cutting rocks with chisels and hammers. But this isn't just a theory; we have actual evidence right before our eyes.

What are the oldest archaeological artifacts that prove Judaism existed thousands of years ago before the Middle Ages?

None. The Ancient Canaanite religion is about 5000 years old and it was thoroughly polytheistic. Ba’al was an important deity. His cult included Carthage.

It’s not sure whether Ba’al and Yahweh were different deities.

El, the supreme Canaanite deity, father of Ba'al

The Torah uses the plural Elohim (the gods).

Yahweh, the storm god

In the twelfth century BCE the Israelites emerged; Yahweh became their national god when the kingdoms of Israel and Judah were founded around 930 BCE. Yahwism became separated from the Canaanite religion.

Around 600 BCE a number of Israelites went into exile into Babylon. Judaism originated among the exiles and the Torah was written. Yahweh and Elohim merged into “The Lord”. Over time Judaism developed from polytheism to monotheism, long after Pharaoh Akhnaten of Egypt introduced monotheism.

By that time, Rome had been founded. In 476 A.D. Rome fell and the Middle Ages started. So Judaism is a relatively young religion with ancient roots.
