There are a lot of Indian Hindus who ask these things:-
- Are Bangladeshis Indians?
- Bangladesh was once upon a time India, so why don't we say Bangladesh is a part of India.
- Are Pakistanis Indians?
- Pakistan and Bangladesh were not exist before 1947
Bangladesh and Pakistan are not India. We are different from India. Indian Hindus must stop thinking about “United India” delusion and stop calling Bangladesh and Pakistan as fake countries.
Indian subcontinents and India is not same.
Saying “Bangladesh and Pakistan are Indian because historically they were part of Bharat”, it is more like someone is saying “Ireland is British, because UK and Ireland together are called British Isles” which makes angry to Ireland's Irish people.
Bharat was a name in Hindu books in ancient time but that name was actually territory name, as same as “UK and Ireland together were called British Isles”. And saying historical outrageous lines “Bangladesh and Pakistan were parts of India. They were part of Maurya Empire. So United India matters”, it is more like someone is saying “Ireland was a part of British Empire and Ireland is a part of British Isles, so Ireland should join with UK to make British Empire, and call Irish people of Ireland as British” which is offensive.
Ireland once upon a time was a part of Britain, but because of starvation and famine, Ireland wanted independence from Britain. Same as India. Indians Hindus wanted desecularization United India before partition, and they didn't care about Muslims. That's why our Hero Sir Mohammed Ali Jinnah separated East Bengal (today Bangladesh) and Pakistan.
Without Pakistan, East Bengal would be a part of India and our life would be hell. Thanks Sir Mohammed Ali Jinnah.
