While most of the Bollywood heroes will either fall in a category of an average dance skills, except the likes of Hrithik, Shahid etc.. In our generation we have Ajay Devgn- one of the worst dancer with no improvement in the skill set despite a massive movie span and even not willing to put minimal endeavour.
Let's recall his latest dance numbers and hardwork on the songs:
Ajay’s lazy hand, leg and shoulder movement with glass full of alcohal in Jhoom Sharabi song from De De Pyar De 2. Seems choregrapher was asked to design all slow exercise like physical movement of body parts that can be added as a dance.
Ajay’s hillarious - Pehla Tu song with Mrinal Thakur from Son of Sardar 2. Ajay did only sync movement of fingers with Mrinal and no other attempt of dance. Choreographers of song were also clear that nothing else can be extracted from Ajay.
Po Po song in Son of Sardar 1. Ajay did sole movement of mouth in the song along with Salman and Sanjay. This already low effort dance song was even retained in Son of Sardar 2. Ajay and other actors were supposed swell their mouth and move it sideways.
Now the above all - Ajay’s iconic hand/finger hook step in Action Jackson “Dhoom Dham” song. In a podcast Ajay told that during shoot, he told Prabhu Deva ( director of movie ) he can do only these steps. This viral step gain wide popularity in the world of mime.

These above were few prominent examples of Ajay’s half- hearted dance songs, while he compensates the movie with his intense acting performance, expressive eyes, and aura of the character. I recall 90’s movie - Ishq having couple of dance numbers where Ajay actually danced in whatever capacity “akhiyan tu mila naa raaja” song.
Prior to Ajay, we have Sunny Deol being one of bad dancer of the era. Couple of songs from Sunny where he atleast tried to dance ( “yara o yara from Jeet and main nikla gadi leke from Gadar” ).
Sunny briefly also danced on “Mera Dil le gyi” from Ziddi movie.
While other actors, heroes execute typical dance steps or being consistent with efforts and incentive dance - actors like Ajay will keep on motivating all non dancers common people to use these zero effort dance hook steps in parties, marriage and events to express and entertain themselves.
