Which celebrity lost her hard-earned fame and prestige by a single mistake?

 It has to be Mamta Kulkarni. She made her debut in 1992 with Tirangaa and in 1993 starred in Aashiq Awara which won her a Filmfare Award of New Face of the year. She was a part of some good films like Waqt Hamara Hai, Krantiveer, Baazi, Karan Arjun, Sabse Bada Khiladi etc.

Things started changing when she played a cameo in Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ghatak. The director signed her for China Gate but their relations soured and there were news that she was dropped from the film. She used the influence of gangster Chota Rajan to get back in the film. This was the start of her bad phase as she was not able to get films due to underworld connection and later she married Vicky Goswami who is a international drug dealer.

Had she not used the influence to get back in the film she would have received offers from other directors but due to this mistake everyone tried to stay away from her.

Why doesn't fame last long?

Film maker : Vikram Bhatt belongs to a known family of film makers.

His grand father Vijay Bhatt and father Pravin were well known film makers.

He learnt ropes of film making from Shekhar Kapur and Mahesh Bhatt.

Famous : Well, he became famous film maker with Raaz ; Ghulam ; Fareb and other movies.

He also earned fame as a writer behind Hate Story ; Aitbaar ; Dastak and other movies.

Well, he became popular for specializing in horror genre.

Many actors - film producers publicly mentioned his role in their success saga.

In short , he was often in news. ; podcasts and articles.

Disgrace : In December ; Vikram Bhatt was arrested by Rajasthan police in a financial crime.

He was sent behind bars.. Courts of law have denied bail to him.

Few actors- film makers have mentioned about it in public.

Alas, he is no longer in news ;podcasts and articles.

Facts : Fame arrives like a blessing but it does not remain forever.

Fame is subjective and changes according to time and space.
