What are some little-known general knowledge?

  1. If you're making clear soup or stew, vegetables that wilt easily, such as spinach, cabbage, celery, mustard greens, etc., can be added to the pan after the heat is off (make sure the vegetables are clean before adding them). I know this method is good for maintaining the nutritional content of the vegetables because it doesn't get exposed to excessive heat and keeps the color of the vegetables fresh. The hot water of the clear soup or stew is enough to soften the vegetables even after the heat is off.
  2. Otw means 'on the way' or 'on the way.' Don't make a habit of saying 'otw' if you're not ready to go at all. It's a shame for those who are waiting, given false hope and afraid of creating bad karma for themselves. Who knows, one day, we might be in the position of being sent an 'otw' chat, but the one we're waiting for takes a really long time to arrive. Waiting is unpleasant, so try not to make others wait. Be on time!
  3. Always shampoo twice for best results. For the first shampoo, use the usual amount. For the second shampoo, use less shampoo. It's best not to shampoo every day. Every two to three days is sufficient.
  4. When taking a shower, there's no need to rinse your body quickly, because that will waste water. Rinsing your body slowly is actually more effective at cleaning soap suds and saves water too.
  5. For women, before skincare, it's a good idea to clean your hands with soap or hand sanitizer so that your hands are clean when touching your face, so the potential for acne can be reduced.
  6. Still related to point 5, for women who want to save money on skincare, day cream and night cream aren't actually necessary. The important thing is to have micellar water, moisturizer, and sunscreen. If you're a little more fuss-free, you can use Vitamin C serum and retinol.
  7. Always carry spare pads for women. I've had friends come to my period unexpectedly several times, and having a spare pad in my bag has been a huge help.
  8. Keep a glass of water near your bed. So when you wake up in the morning, even if you're sleepy, you can drink straight away without having to tire yourself out going to the kitchen. Drinking water first thing in the morning is great for boosting your metabolism.
  9. For those who use deodorant and still complain about underarm odor, you can try sprinkling baby powder on your underarms before applying the deodorant. Also, make sure your underarm hair isn't too long to prevent excessive underarm odor.
  10. Regarding point 9, it's best not to put on clothes while the deodorant is still wet. This will leave a hardened yellow stain that's difficult to remove.
  11. Personal experience, if there is someone close to you who is grieving, it might be kinder to use the word 'patience'. We never know how much pain they are going through because of the loss of someone they love. Instead of asking them to be patient, we can replace it by saying, "It's okay to feel sad, because we are human. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here." When it's necessary to embrace them, it's more effective in healing wounds than having to use the word 'patience' which sometimes sounds like bullshit to the ears of those who are deeply sad.
  12. Kalau masih punya orang tua, sebisa mungkin rutin telpon mereka, karna ga ada yg tau berapa umur manusia. Jgn sampai suatu hari nanti nyesal karna kurang nyisihin waktu buat orang tua, sementara mereka udh terlanjur ga ada. .
