What are the ten Mahavidya goddesses (Parvati's Shaktis)?

Kali is the first goddess and she is the ultimate expression of nature. She is both destructive and benevolent. She protects people against evil to protect her loved ones. She is the goddess of creation and destruction. She is good and evil. She is the embodiment of Goddess Shakti, which is the female power.

Goddess Tara is the supreme savior and goddess of mercy. She grants boons to her beloved devotees. She symbolizes purity. She is the female form of Buddha.

She is a principal aspect of Mahadevi. She protects devotees from all misfortunes in life and gives them success. Tripura Sundari, as the name shows in Sanskrit, is beautiful in the three states of consciousness. She is the ultimate Shakti and rules above Bramha, Vishnu, and Shiva. She saves Gods from the demon Bhandasura. No evil force has the power to combat her.

Bhuvaneshwari is the incarnation of Goddess Parvati. Goddess Parvati is the incarnation of Mahashakti. Bhuvaneshwari is the ruler of the universe. She is the divine mother and the Queen of all worlds. She creates the power of LOVE, space, and freedom. She frees humans from attachments and suffering.

Bhairavi has a power that is unavoidable and irresistible. She is in charge of Nitya Laya (Pralaya or dissolution), which means the decay or death of individual entities, daily. Devotees seeking material fulfillment worship Bhairavi.

Chhinnamasta is a goddess of contradictions. She is a life giver and a life taker, so she symbolizes both aspects of Mahadevi. She is a symbol of sexual self-control and an embodiment of sexual energy. She helps us to free restrictions in our mind, helps us do successful meditation, improves perception, is free from troubles, and helps us find solutions.

Dhumavati is the goddess of strife, loneliness, unfulfilled desires, and inauspicious things. If you worship her, she protects you from hidden enemies, misfortune, and malefic energies. She also fulfills ur desires and brings good fortune. She removes all obstacles from life. She is a destroyer of all evils, sins, demons, and wrongs.

Bagalamukhi is the goddess who paralyzes enemies. She clears the illusions and confusions of devotees and gives them a clear path to proceed in life. She can silence and immobilize enemies. Yellow is her favorite color, and she is usually associated with the color yellow.

Matangi is the goddess of music and learning. She governs speech, music, knowledge, and arts. She helps fulfill all desires.

Kamala is the epithet of Goddess Lakshmi. Goddess Kamala brings prosperity, fertility, luck, and all characteristics that Devi Lakshmi has. She eradicates poverty, loss of money, and debt, and brings eternal happiness and worldly pleasures.
