Deepak Tijori who made his Bollywood debut with Aashiqui is still active in the field of acting and direction.
Tijori played the main lead in only one film, Pehla Nasha. He is mostly known for his supporting roles in films like Aashiqui, Khiladi, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Sadak, Anjaam, Baadshah and Vaastav. He turned director with Oops! and directed a few films Khamoshh…Khauff Ki Raat, Tom Dick and Harry, Fox and Tipppsy.
Recently, Tijori won over 20 Best Actor honors at prestigious Global film festivals for his performance in the English-language short film, Echoes of Us.
Tijori's marriage to his wife Shivani unraveled in a dramatic, highly public dispute. Shivani restricted Tijori to a single room in their house and instructed household staff to stop feeding him. Accusing Tijori of having an extra-marital affair, Shivani threw him out of the house, filed a divorce and demanded alimony. His daughter Samara Tijori is also an actress.
Later, it was discovered that Shivani had never divorced her first husband and therefore her union with Deepak was ruled null and void, meaning they were never legally married despite living together for over two decades.
Currently, Tijori has been developing a new project tentatively titled Tom, Dick and Mary. After finishing the scripting he began seeking funds for the film which required an estimated 25 crore budget. However, the production has faced significant setbacks as he filed a cheating and fraud case in January 2026. Tijori alleged that he was duped of Rs.5 Lakh by scamsters posing as representatives of major production houses.
Tijori is still trying to arrange funds for his film.
