What is the most overused movie trope that Hollywood just needs to let go?

 Where do I start?

Breakfasts: The mother cooks a massive, five-course morning feast with pancakes, bacon, eggs, and fresh juice on a random Tuesday. The teenager runs downstairs, grabs a single piece of toast, says they are going to be late, and runs out the door.

The "Enhance" command: Detectives look at grainy, pixelated security footage shot from a mile away. The tech guy types furiously, says "enhance," and suddenly they have a crystal-clear 4K image of the killer's face.

Makeovers: The supposedly unpopular, unattractive girl in high school is actually a stunningly beautiful actress. To hide this, she wears a messy ponytail, oversized overalls, and a pair of glasses. Once she takes the glasses off, the whole school realizes she's gorgeous.

The cough of death: A character gives one tiny, polite cough into a handkerchief. It's never just a tickle in their throat or seasonal allergies; it means they have a terminal illness and will be dead by the third act.

I suspect most people who wear glasses wish taking them off made them instantly popular instead of just making everything blurry.
