 There are actually quite a few noteworthy ones, so I'll try to tell you 10 of the ones I consider the most disturbing, but it's impossible to put them in any particular order since each of these events resulted in the loss of one or more human lives:

1-Djatolv Pass:

The incident known as Dyatlov Pass occurred on February 1, 1958, and the tents of some hikers had been torn to pieces with a knife from outside, and the bodies of some of them were found a little further away with wounds on their bodies and with evident signs of terror on their faces. Even today it is not known who or what was the architect of the massacre and this makes the story even more disturbing, since many things remain inexplicable.

2-the Bluebeard of Gambeis:

Henry Desire Landru, known as the Bluebeard of Gambeis, was an alleged French serial killer who, according to investigators of the time, lured at least nine women to his home during the First World War through marriage proposals. He then strangled them, chopped them up with an axe, and burned them in the stove, all with the aim of robbing them of their belongings. He was sentenced to death and beheaded on February 25, 1922. Even today, it is unclear whether he was actually responsible for those murders.

3-The Murder of the Black Dahlia:

Elisabeth Short, known as the Black Dahlia, is one of the most enigmatic cases of the 20th century. Elisabeth (an aspiring actress with a complicated life) was brutally murdered on January 15, 1947. The killer disfigured her face, split her body in two, and drained it of blood. He then removed a piece of skin with a tattoo and placed a lock of hair in her vagina. The police were also called, but to this day no one knows who is responsible for that massacre.

4-the Fazio rocks incident:

It was a hot morning in 1930 in Rocchette di Fazio, Tuscany, and a young girl had gone to throw garbage off a cliff, but she never returned home. After a week of searching, the body was found in the woods surrounding Rocchette di Fazio. According to some, the girl had "for some reason" leaned over the cliff and fallen, dying instantly. Some also claim she was pushed by someone else, although this hypothesis has never been fully confirmed.

5-the Monster of Florence and his companions:

Between 1968 and 1985 in Florence, Tuscany, Italy one or more executioners mercilessly killed 8 couples, or 16 people. The killer killed the two boys with gunshots, then carried the girl's body out of the car and mutilated it. After a series of elaborate investigations, Mario Vanni, Giancarlo Lotti and Pietro Pacciani (the drinking buddies) were arrested, but even today, just like that of Henry Landru, their guilt is still doubtful.

6-Kata's disappearance:

On June 10, 2023 in Florence Mia Kataleya Chicclo Alvarez, known to all as Kata, aged 5, was playing with her brother and other children outside the hotel where she lived, and her uncle had gone into the house for a moment while her mother was at work and Kata, without any explanation, left the gate of the building and never returned. Almost a year after her disappearance, nothing has been known about the little girl's fate.

7-the murder of JonBenet Ramsey:

It was December 25, 1996 when 7-year-old JonBenet Ramsey was found dead in the basement of her home, with signs of physical and sexual abuse on her body. There were multiple suspects, but there was not enough evidence to convict anyone. On December 19, 2019, a convicted pedophile confessed to the murder and said it was a mistake, although today the truth has not fully emerged.

8-The Zodiac Killer:

The Zodiac killer also known as Zodiac was an American serial killer who at the end of 1960 in San Francisco, United States killed 5 people although according to the letters he sent to the media and to the police the victims were at least 25, Zodiac generally killed with gunshots or with stabbing weapons (knives), even today his identity is unknown despite numerous theories.

9-The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi:

It was June 22, 1983, when a Vatican citizen named Emanuela Orlandi disappeared in Rome. She was on her way to catch a bus with some of her friends when, according to witnesses, she got into a man's car and never returned home. The Orlandi case involved the Magliana gang, the Vatican, Enrico de Pedis, and even the theory of an alleged serial killer, given that a month later another girl named Mirella Gregori disappeared, yet to this day no one knows the truth.

10-Jack the Ripper:

Between the summer and fall of 1888, in Whitechapel, in London's East End, a man known as Jack the Ripper spread terror, killing five prostitutes and sending numerous letters to the police, signing himself as Jack the Ripper. The killer slit his victims' throats, then mutilated them and slit their bellies, before disappearing into thin air, and for this reason he is considered the most famous murderer in history.

  What happened to the plane that vanished without a trace?

A crewman on a Royal New Zealand Air Force P-3 Orion Rescue Flight 795 searches for debris from the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 on April 1.

A Malaysia Airlines flight vanished without a trace while en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8. The weather was clear and there was no distress signal from the cockpit when the plane disappeared from radar screens.

After more than nine months, not a single piece of debris from MH370 has turned up. Despite numerous conspiracy theories we still don't know what happened to the plane. All 239 people on board are presumed dead.

A story from 1957 about supposed reincarnation, two girl sisters 11 and 6 years old killed in a car accident in England, with their mother giving birth to twins the following year

One of the twins bore the exact same birth marks as her deceased sister in exactly the same places, and it got spookier when the girls requested exactly the dead sisters’ toys which they couldn’t possibly have known about

They also asked to be taken to places they’d never heard of, like a park the departed sisters had been too.

• Tamam Shud

Back in December 1948, an unidentified man was found dead in Somerton Beach, located in Adelaide, Australia. Found in one of his pockets was a piece of paper with the words “Tamam Shud” written on it. The words were translated “finished” or “ended” based on excerpts found in The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. Although governments around the world have tried to identify the man his identity has remained mystery.

• Georgia Guidestones

Also identified as the American version of Stonehenge, the Georgia Guidestones located in Elbert County are shrouded in mystery, although they were erected only in 1979. Written on the walls are 10 “new commandments” written in English, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, China, Russia, and Spanish although no one is sure why or for whom they were meant.

• Bigfoot

Also known as Sasquatch, bigfoot is supposedly a creature that lives in the snowy mountainous regions of the United States and Canada. It may be identified as a gorilla at first, however, its walking posture can be compared to that of a man’s.

• Black Dahlia Murder

22-year old Elizabeth Short was very active at promoting herself into showbiz at the time the Black Dahlia murder occurred, however, no one knew of the killer or who actually did the murder.

is not uncommon for bodies to wash up on beaches but for one beach in British Columbia severed feet have consistently been floating ashore for the past several years causing numerous theories to be put forth.

• DB Cooper

When DB Cooper hijacked a Boeing 727 along with $200,000, he proceeded to jump out of the plane with a parachute. He was never found, however, and this remains the only unsolved case in US aviation history.

• SS Ourang Medan

What happened to SS Ourang Medan or “Man from Medan” in Malaysia is perhaps one of the most fascinating and mind-boggling mysteries that ever existed in seafaring history. Everything began with an SOS message in 1947 that mentioned the captain, along with the rest of the crew, was dead. What’s worse, even the telegrapher died during the transmission of the message. When the Silver Star was able to receive the distress call and went to inspect the ship, they confirmed the deaths of all aboard. Speculations of ghosts, hazardous chemicals, and even aliens have been raised, but there is still no conclusion as to what actually happened.

 As the world's oldest temple, Gobeklitepe This deepens the mystery of human history.

Radiocarbon dating has revealed that this archaeological site is approximately 12,000 years old.

What is the "mystery" about this ruin? "There are no traces of agriculture or settled life in the surrounding area, yet religious facilities exist. "That's the point.

In the first place, in order to construct a religious facility, there needs to be a "reason" for people to visit the temple with a certain frequency, and if people are not settled in the surrounding area, there is no need for a permanent temple in one place.

Furthermore, constructing large temples requires a large workforce, which presupposes the existence of organized people and religious leaders. It is said that this kind of "social status" only emerged after the beginning of agriculture.

Despite this, the reason why Göbekli Tepe remains undiscovered, with no evidence of agricultural settlement in the surrounding area, remains unknown.

If such a temple truly existed during the hunter-gatherer era, it would drastically overturn established archaeological theories.

Furthermore, the fact that Göbekli Tepe is located near Mount Karaja also increases the possibility of overturning previous theories. Modern cultivated wheat and the wild wheat of Mount Karaja are the closest genetically, and it is believed that agriculture began in this area. Considering this together with the aforementioned temple... "There was already a social structure, and when agriculture was added to it, a large-scale society rapidly developed. "This overturns the established theory that "small-scale vegetable gardens gradually formed larger communities."

Although excavation work is still ongoing, it has been registered as a World Heritage Site.

What are some of the most interesting unsolved crimes in recent history?

 They came disguised as police officers, stayed for 81 minutes and left with a heist worth over half a billion dollars. To this day, no one knows who they were and the items they stole have never been found.

In 1990, two men disguised as Boston Police officers buzzed the intercom of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. They told the guards they were responding to a disturbance call. Believing they were real police officers, the night guards broke protocol and let them in through the main entrance.

Once inside, the thieves told the guards to step away from the watch desk. Within minutes, the guards were overpowered, handcuffed and tied to a pole in the basement with duct tape over their eyes.

With nobody left to stop them, the thieves roamed freely. Over the next 70 minutes, they stole 13 pieces of art that were valued around $500 million. Interestingly, they didn't steal the most valuable painting in the museum, a Titian worth around $250 million.

The thieves left the museum at around 2:45 AM. However, the heist wasn't discovered until the morning shift guards arrived at 8:00 AM and found empty frames hanging on the wall and the night guards still tied up. The police were informed immediately and a massive investigation was launched.

Now, 36 years later, none of the stolen artworks have been recovered and investigators have never been able to identify the two men behind one of the biggest art heists in history.

What are some unsolved mysteries about temples in India?

 There are many temples which are very mysterious and even scientists have not been able to explain the mysteries surrounding the temple. Explaing about all the temples is an impossible feat, so I will explain about one temple.

Kailasa temple at Ellora caves :

• This temple seems to be built by a very advanced civilization.
• What’s special about this temple is it was not built by adding stone blocks but an entire mountain was carved to create this temple.

• This is the only temple in the whole world where a mountain was cut out from the top , to create a structure.
• In all other temples and caves, even in Ellora and the rest of the world, the rock was cut from the front and carved as they went along.

• The whole world has followed a rock cutting technique called “cut-in-monolith” while Kailasa temple is the only one that has used the exact opposite technique called “cut-out monolith” .
• To see why this technique is different , let’s take a look at the pillar , that is over 100ft tall.

• See how small human beings look , when compared to this pillar. Normally, to create such a huge pillar, it would take years of work, carving accurately on the huge rock. But this pillar was carved by scooping out all the pieces of mountain around it.

• You can imagine the amount of rock , which has been removed to create this pillar.
• Historians and archaeologists are confused because of the sheer amount of rock that was removed in this temple. Archaeologists confirm that over 400,000 tonnes of rock had to be scooped out , which would have taken not years, but centuries of human labour.
• Historians have no record of such a monstrous task and they think that this temple was built in less than 18 years !!!

• Let’s do a simple math and see if they are correct. I am going to assume that people worked everyday for 18 years and for 12 hours straight with no breaks at all. I am going to ignore rainy days, festivals, war time and assume that people worked like robots ceaselessly. I am also going to ignore the time taken to carve intricate carvings and complex engineering designs and planning and just focus on the removal of rocks.
• If 400,000 tons of rocks were removed in 18 years , 22,222 tons of rocks had to be removed every year. This means that 60 tons of rocks were removed every day, which gives us 5 tons of rocks were removed every hour.
• I think we can all agree that this is not even possible today to remove 5 tons of rock from a mountain every hour. Not even with the so called advanced machines we have. So if it is not humanly possible , was it done by the humans ??
• Now forget about creating such an extraordinary structure . Can human beings atleast destroy this temple? Infact Aurangzeb, a Jihadi king employed a thousand workers to completely demolish this temple.
• In the year 1682, the Jihadi who was disrobed by the Marathas and later had died a dog’s death , with no one beside him, had ordered the temple to be destroyed so that there would be no trace of it.
• Records show that a thousand people worked for 3 years , and they could only do a very minimal damage. They could break and disfigure a few statues here and there but they realized that it is just not possible to completely destroy this temple. Finally he gave up the plan of destroying this temple. Poor Dufferzeb! He realizes everything very late! At first he thought that he would subdue Marathas but poor Aurangzeb after getting beaten around by Marathas for 27 years , finally realized that he was no match for them! What a shame for Aurangzeb ! Finally died like a dog with no one beside him and even his treasury was empty, and later his descendants became a puppet of the great Peshwa Baji Rao. Poor Mughals !!! They could’nt even manage their treasury and some comedians think that they made our country rich!!!

• Infact archaeologists agree that Kailasa temple was created before any other temple in the Ellora cave complex. Could this have been built centuries before human beings started carving other temples nearby? Is this why the architecture , the design and the size of is so much better and bigger than other temples? If it was built by humans, it is logical to expect that the rock cutting tchniques and design would become better over time. People would gain more experience and knowledge and make better structures in the future. However, the Kailasa temple is the oldest and the biggest temple carved with engineering perfection.
• Unlike other temples , the Kailasa is the only temple that is visible from the air. Out of 34 temples , all carved side by side , Kailasa stands out and you can see it while flying over it.
• So the mystery is how was this temple made and who made it? If you vist this temple , there are many more features which might shock you. Unlike other temples of Ellora , notice how well its rectangular design is oriented with all the four directions. Its entrance faces perfectly to the west.

• Unlike most other temples of Ellora , this temple has bridges that connect towers , rainwater harvesting systems, drainage systems , hidden underground passages , secret peepholes that can show people walking in , elaborate balconies in different areas and complex stairways that connect multiple levels.

• And all of this had to be planned accurately before they started carving the mountain. For example, you cannot carve these two structures seperately and then decide to build a bridge later. No connecting rocks or external rocks were used at all, and everything was carved perfectly from one mountain. Do you still believe that this was done with chisels, hammers and pickaxes by people with limited mathematical and architectural knowledge? I hope we all can agree that the Kailasa temple was built by a much advanced civilization.
