But another meaning of Koti is Type of Gods.
33 Koti Gods ≠ 33 crore Gods but
33 Koti Gods = Main Gods which are of 33 types ( 8 Vasus, 11 Rudras, 12 Adityas and 2 Ashwini Kumars along with 3339 others Gods) ( Rigveda )
So, there is no crores of Gods.
