Anjani Putra (2017) - Puneeth Rajkumar and Rashmika Mandanna
This movie is a remake of Poojai (2014) starring Vishal and Shruti Haasan. This movie has been remade with minor changes which I shall not reveal as it might be a spoiler. Though I personally do not like Rashmika Mandanna, I enjoyed Puneeth Rajkumar’s acting, story line and the emotional comfort that the movie provides.

This movie is a remake of the movie Naan Avanillai (1974) starring Gemini Ganesan and Lakshmi.
