What are the top 10 breakfasts in India?

 It is a tough question. India is a vast country and has diverse population. Therefore, the food consumed it is very different. Anyways, I will try covering as much as possible.

1.Jolpan

It is a traditional Assamese breakfast. Jolpan is a snack, breakfast or a mini meal usually consists of various forms of rice like ground roasted rice (xandoh), boiled in its husk and flattened (chira/aval), puffed rice (akhoi /malar, mudhi /murmura /pori), and variety of glutinous rice found in Assam called as bora saul, kumol saul; this unique variety of rice can be eaten without cooking, just by soaking them and all these rice forms are eaten along with curd /yogurt (doi), jaggery (goor), and various pitha. It is served with great fervor during the most popular festival Bihu of Assamese culture, in weddings and other occasions too.

2. Radhaballabhi

Radha Ballabhi is a lentil stuffed poori or Indian flat bread which is deep-fried in mustard oil. The deep-fried pooris are served with aloor dum or aloor tarkari, a spicy potato curry.

3. Poha

It is the world famous Maharashtrain Breakfast that fills lakhs of tummies per day.

4. Puttu Kadala Kari

Puttu Kadala curry is Kerala’s treasured breakfast dish. Kadala is a coconut based kala chana (black chickpeas) curry that is rich in protein and lip smacking good when eaten with Puttu.
