Agarkar was coached by Ramakant Achrekar, the great coach in Mumbai who also coached famous players like Pravin Amre, Sachin Tendulkar, and Vinod Kambli.
2. 300 at 15
When Agarkar started playing junior cricket as a kid in Mumbai, he began as a batsman but later changed to become a bowler. At the age of 15, he scored TRIPLE CENTURY in a school cricket match.
3. In 1994
Agarkar represented India U-17s against England where he batted consistently at No 5. In 1997, he played for India U-19 and hit a century against Sri Lanka.

Ajit Agarkar made history by getting the Fastest 50 wickets in ODIs, breaking Dennis Lillee's record in just 23 matches. He's also the quickest Indian to reach 50, 150, 200, and 250 ODI wickets.

Ajit Agarkar owns the record for the fastest 50 in ODIs by an Indian, taking just 21 balls! He beat Kapil Dev's record of 22 balls.

Agarkar scored his only Test century, a solid 109, against England in 2002 at Lords. Even legends like Sachin Tendulkar and VVS Laxman could not manage to hit 100 in tests at Lord’s playing for India.

Flashback to 2010: Agarkar's heroics in the Ranji Trophy final! He took 5 wickets for 81 against Karnataka in Mysore, securing Mumbai's victory by just 6 runs.
