• Photographer : Swami Sundaranand (1926–2020) was a Himalayan Yogi ;who was better known as Photo Baba for his photographs.
• Well, he had shot more than 100000 good photographs of Himalayas , Ganga ji, Gomukh, Gangotri glacier.

• He had also published a best selling .photo book.
• Well, his photo exhibitions were displayed at known galleries across India.
• Mountaineer : This disciple of Swami Tapovan Maharaj was an avid mountaineer.
• He had climbed around 25 known Himalayan peaks.
• It was during one of his mountaineering expeditions that brought him to Gangotri ;where he met Swami Tapovan Maharaj- a reclusive mystic.
• He never went back and became a Sanyasi (ascetic).

• Siddhi : He was a rare mystic; who stayed in Gangotri during sub zero climate in winter.
• Many monks claimed , it was because of his Hath Yoga siddhi or expertise in Hath Yoga.
• He never took help from others, but meditated , prayed and observed mother nature.

• No wonder, monks and mountaineers visited him to seek his guidance on nature and life.
• Well, Swami ji took Mahasamadhi ( Yogic death) at the age of 96 years in 2020.

• His admirers turned his small cottage into a photography museum.
