A few movies that are only meant for clever minds. All of them are from Bollywood:
- Kaun (1999)
Kaun is one of the best intelligent simplistic thriller made in Indian cinema. The audience are made fools in this movie, they would literally be wondering what's happening and what will happen. This is a wonderful story written by Anurag Kashyap and directed by RGV. Both Urmilla and Manoj Bajpayee killed it. They gave an outstanding performance in this movie. Nobody has an idea of what's happening and nobody can actually guess the climax. Even the most intelligent person would fail to guess what will happen in the last 20 minutes which had one of the greatest twists and arguably this is one of the best thrillers made in Bollywood movie and can be termed as a movie ahead of time.
- Kahaani (2012)
Kahaani is a one of the best thriller movie made in Bollywood in the last 10 years. This movie has a Bengali flavour added to it. The lead actor Parambrata Chatterjee is a well known actor in Bangla cinema and the entire movie takes place in Kolkata. The movie too is very unpredictable and has an outstanding twist which most of them would not have guessed. Vidya Balan in this movie acted wonderfully and Bollywood is really lucky to have her working for so many years. The movie overall is an excellent movie but the climax is the only negative point, in my opinion it should have been better. The movie ends with the legendary Amitabh Bachchan singing a Bangla song .
- Special 26( 2013)
I was lucky to see this movie in theatres. It was a fantastic movie. The first time when I saw this I couldn't believe that the movie would end in such a way, it was absolutely surprising. Only very few clever people would have thought that the movie would end in such a way. Special 26 also has wonderful songs and it is definitely one such movie which can be watched numerous times.
Hope Bollywood makes many such wonderful movies in the future.
