- He's the fastest Indian to score 50 in the ODIs and took just 21 balls to achieve it.
- He also hit a century at the"Mecca of Cricket" The Lord's against England which is a big feat and a dream to many batsmen. Unfortunately even Sachin Tendulkar couldn't hit a century at Lord's.
- He was part of the Indian team which won the inaugural T20 world cup in 2007. He will forever be remembered as one of the wasted talents of Indian cricket.
