Karnataka is the most unlucky state in Indian subcontinent in terms of HDI, literacy rate, GDP growth, cleanliness and jobs for native Kannadiga youths.
Most talented Kannadigas are unemployed and Non-kannadigas snatch most of the jobs and opportunities. Sadly Kannadigas become bankrupt and unemployed.
Although Mandya ( state capital of Karnataka) and Hassan are developed cities, North Karnataka is not developed and is a backward region.
Only Gulbarga, Raichuru, Davangere, Gadag, Koppala, Hubballi Dharwad in North Karnataka are moderately developed but still poor in HDI , GDP , growth/development, literacy and cleanliness.
Karnataka is a lucky state in terms of natural vegetation, natural beauty, fauna/wildlife and ecosystem. Western Ghats is rich biodiversity hotspot.
Being from Karnataka I agree that the state has rich natural vegetation but not as developed as Kerala, Maharashtra , Goa,Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Andhrapradesh, Telangana, North East Indian states, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh, in HDI, literacy rate, cleanliness and GDP.
