What is the oldest futuristic structure in Italy?

 Probably Villa Girasole.

Designed by engineer Angelo Invernizzi (1884-1958), it is located in Marcellise in the province of Verona. Built between 1929 and 1935 , it is undoubtedly incredible.

This futuristic work is composed of a fixed circular body, on which rests a rotating V-shaped body. The rotation is entrusted to rollers that travel along circular rails.

The idea of the engineer who created it was to be able to enjoy the sunlight at any time of the day , just like a sunflower does by rotating its corolla.
