Who is the most remarkable business man?

Sri. Cherukuri Ramoji Rao , who was born in 1936 is in my view a most remarkable business man Diversity is his method of success.

His first business was Margadarshi Chit funds. After it has reached its peak, he started Priya foods industry. He made no. of pickles for house hold people. After success of that he entered journalism and started Eenadu Paper. He created new trends in news paper by introducing district editions, of which every news papers are following now a days.

He used unique method to popularize Eenadu News paper. in 1974 he started the paper in visakhapatnam in a small shed.Even before publication of the paper he recruited about 50 boys whose job is to come to his office at early time of 5 A.M. and sit there. This is to cultivate a habit if early rising. Afterwards he identified the the houses of paper reading public. At that moment Andhra Prabha used to be leading Newspaper in Andhra Pradesh. He asked the boys to follow the news paper boys and identify the houses where the paper is distributed.

Then he started the news paper publication hiring top journalists and also with a new concept of district edition added to the main edition. At that time all the boys he recruited developed the habit of rising at 4 A.M. He asked them to distribute the papers to the houses of paper reading public identified earlier before other news papers are distributed free of cost.

Thus every news paper reader in Visakhapatnam developed the habit of reading Eenadu paper first thing in the morning. Also they are happy about their local news published in district edition. After fifteen days of free distribution he sent promoters to every news reading persons house and promoted his paper by asking their suggestions and requesting them to subscribe to his paper. Thus the eenadu paper grew stature and started expanding to one by one districts, and by 1980 it made its entry to whole of Andhra pradesh. In 1983 elections the news paper contributed to the success of Telugu Desam party and to become N.T.Rama Rao as chief Minister.

After wards he entered film industry. He started Ushakiran Movies banner and started producing Telugu movies. he is the first to produce a biopic, that of Sudha Chandran famous dancer. Sudha Chandran herself portrayed her role in the move, which is named Mayuri. and another bio pic of Ashwani Nachappa, athlete, again Ashwani performing her own biopic role. Also he produced many comedies.

Then while producing the movies he got the idea to construct a film city so that any producer comes with only money and take out his movie print while going. Complete establishment.

He started a Telugu T.V.channel called E.TV. in august 1995 and added ETV 2 as news channel subsequently. He further added ETV in other languages of India.

Thus he constructed Ramoji Film city in 2000 acres with the sets of railway station, post office, street roads of a village and town, beautiful scenes, lakes, ponds and what not everything we see in movies. It is the biggest of that kind in Asia.

He always made good rapport with the ruling Government.

His rise and his business tactics are worth a lesson in text books of Business school .
