Why don't we see as many rich people in Norway as in Dubai, even though they have so much oil?

There are actually many rich people in Norway, even more than in Dubai.

Property billionaire Alexandra Andresen and her sister Katherina Andresen.

Oil Tycoon John Frediksen.

However, their lives are not flashy, meaning they are not rolling in wealth.

In Norway the symbol of wealth is not like this

But like this

Why are rich Norwegians not flashy?

I don't want to exaggerate by saying that Norwegians live frugally and don't waste money, because that's not the reason why rich Norwegians don't have conspicuous wealth.

I didn't include any sources because I was relying solely on logic.

Straight to.

The first reason is geographical location .

Take a look at the Map of Norway.

Norway is the northernmost country in the world.

Norway's geographical position is disadvantageous. Unlike Asia-Pacific or Western Europe, which are the heart of global economic activity, Norway is not.

In the North there are only empty expanses of snow, while in the South, Norway is isolated from the European continent.

That's why in the past Norway could not compete with other European empires in carrying out colonialism.

In the Arctic region or the northern part of Norway there are only views like this.

Not all areas of Norway can be inhabited or at least built into residential areas because Norway's location directly facing the Arctic in the North makes the Norwegian climate unfriendly.

The lives of the Norwegian people can be said to be unlucky because they have to be able to survive in the face of a harsh climate.

With a harsh climate and unfavorable geographical location, the Norwegian people have to think hard to survive the harsh nature, so that in the end the Norwegian people have a high work ethic and are taught to live with gratitude.

Nature Forces Norwegians and Scandinavians to Live with Gratitude.

It seems that there is not enough reason why the wealth of rich Norwegians is not conspicuous.

Okay, there are still several reasons related to Norway's location.

Second Reason TAXES .

Norway and its Scandinavian neighbors have very high taxes.

Rich Norwegians are not conspicuous not because they want to escape taxes but because becoming rich in Norway is very difficult.

In Indonesia alone, becoming rich is very difficult because of the many obstacles, let alone in Norway, which already has many obstacles and the amount of taxes is not small.

Indonesian conglomerates may be struggling with taxes in Norway and its neighbors.

Despite the high taxes in Norway, it also has a positive impact on the lives of the Norwegian people, where Norway is able to carry out economic equality such as free public education facilities covered by the state and cheap or even free medical costs.

Because of the difficulty of becoming wealthy in Norway, the conglomerates there have become self-aware and naturally grateful. Therefore, wealthy Norwegians don't want to waste their efforts to become conglomerates in their homeland, such as by spending excessively on luxury goods.

The third reason.

As in answer number 1, Norway is not in a favorable location because it faces the Arctic and lives under

a harsh

climate .

In the 1970s, Norway was overjoyed because it had successfully discovered an oil well in the Arctic Ocean.

With the discovery of oil in the Arctic Sea, Norway has become a country that is on a par with Qatar or Kuwait because it is rich in oil.

The Norwegian royal family became richer due to the discovery of oil.

Which is the most architecturally-rich city in India?

Personally I feel Mysore, be it the stunning palaces, the administrative buildings, the beautifully laid out gardens, the temples, the churches, it is one treasure trove of architectural delights.

Apart from the magnificent
Mysore Palace, with it's opulent interiors, and rich architecture, the city also has some other fabulous looking palaces.

Lalita Mahal palace, on the way to Chamundi hills, in the style of St.Paul's cathedral in London. Built by Krishna Raja Wodeyar IV, for the Viceroy of India then, it is now a five star hotel, and also a popular location for many movies shot here.

Jaganmohan Palace, which was built as an alternative by the Mysore Maharajas in 1861, when the existing Mysore Palace was then undergoing reconstruction. It is a must watch, for it's Art Gallery, that has a large collection of Raja Ravi Varma paintings.

Jayalakshmi Vilas Mansion, built in 1905 by Krishna Raja Wodeyar IV for the princess Jayalakshmi, it now houses University of Mysore's Post Graduate center.

The magnificent
Brindavan Gardens, with it's awesome fountains, especially worth a watch during night time. Most Hindu, Telugu, Kannada movies of the 70's, 80's were set here, with the hero and heroine crooning sweet nothings. And the adjoining Krishna Raja Sagar dam makes for an imposing spectacle.

The majestic Chamundeswari Temple on top of the Chamundi Hills, housing the patron deity of Mysore, a fine specimen of Dravidian architecture. Also the huge monolithic Nandi on the road to Chamundi Hills, worth a watch.

The St. Philomena's Church, which is modelled on the Cologne Cathedral, built in 1843 by Krishna Raja Wodeyar.

Oriental Research Institute, that houses an excellent collection of Kannada and Sanskrit, rare manuscripts, and around 33,000 palm leaf manuscripts too.

Crawford Hall, the main building in the University of Mysore campus.

And coming to the 21st century, the campus of Infosys in Mysore, itself worth a look.

Mysore, with it's blend of past, present and future, and architecture, that is a mix of Dravidian with Victorian styles, is worth a visit for the connosieur.

What are some of the most protein-rich foods?

Sources from animals are still the most comprehensive ones: eggs are the most absorbable source of protein per gram on Earth, and we've been underselling them for decades. The humble chicken breast is the Swiss Army knife of proteins – efficient, dense, easy to work with. Sardine and salmon canned in water will deliver way more than you paid for, including valuable omega-3 fatty acids, with a portion of 20-25 grams of protein thrown in. Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, and high-quality beef are also great sources; beef liver deserves special praise as an incredibly nutritious food few ever try.

In the plant category, lentils and chickpeas should be your go-to choice – not "for a plant, quite good," but good period. Edamame, tempeh, and black beans should definitely make the cut, especially if you're working your sources together properly. Hemp and pumpkin seeds get a little bit overlooked when everyone gets carried away by protein powders.

As far as that goes – real food first and foremost. The right protein powder (isolated whey or pea-rice blend) can be used as an aid, not as the base of your diet. Construct your diet based on real food and use supplements only when you really have no choice.

The thing that few people realize is that variation in these food sources is just as important as the actual consumption. Diverse amino acid structures combine, and variation throughout the week is what will support muscle building, hunger management, and good metabolism.

If there is a will, then there must be a way, and when it comes to your quest for optimum health, it’s no different. Nature, in its infinite wisdom, has always offered all that man needed to not only treat but cure and improve his physical state from the day he walked the earth — without any help from modern-day medicine. This encyclopedia is your ticket to tapping into that ancient yet unmissable wealth of information. Built around ancient wisdom and healing foods, it aims at reaching out to those who struggle with their health in order to provide solutions to their problems. Regardless of what you and your family members are going through, the answer lies right there.

What are calcium rich foods?

 1. Milk. Milk is one of the most easiest and cheapest available source of Calcium.

2. Milk Products. If you don’t like milk, like me, then curd, buttermilk, lassi, Cottage Cheese (Paneer), Cheese i.e milk products.

3. Almonds Milk. You can look up recipes on youTube to make Almond milk at home. Please avoid the ones available in Market. They are really high on sugar and old. (God knows for how long they’ve been on the shelves!)

4. Seeds. Chia seeds, sesame seeds are a good source of Calcium, Protein and Healthy Fats. They up your Omega-3’s.

5. Oranges. My favorite source of Calcium. It provides Calcium and Vitamin C to our body.

6. Vegetables. Veggies like Spinach and Broccoli are also sources of Calcium.

7. Fish. Fishes like Sardine, Salmon help up your calcium level. Though not easily available in India, you might find them at big supermarket stores in frozen or canned form.

Along with the above, you need to keep your Vitamin D levels sufficient because it is required for the absorption of Calcium.

There are lot many sources of Calcium available but I have restricted to the ones easily available in my Country India.

I am not a medical professional. This answer is based upon the advice given to me for Calcium sources and my own research.

Hope this helps

Thanks
