What final scene ruined a great movie for you?

The final scene or you can say the ending of Bollywood movie "Shadi mein jaroor aana" ruined an otherwise great movie for me.

**Spoiler Ahead**

This is a very good movie showing the story of a boy whose to be wife run away on marriage day for her career goals. The boy had extreme love for the girl and this incident broke him. His family suffered due to this incident.

Fast Forward 5 years the boy is now an IAS and investigating a case of corruption against the same girl. During the investigation he kind of takes his revenge and in the end of the investigation proves that the girl is not guilty.

Girl is thankful to him however he left even without looking towards the girl.

The movie could have very well ended here however Bollywood have a deep feeling for happy endings. Now the girl again starts flirting with the hero and arranges a fake marriage with a different boy.

Now, overlooking all the embarrassment and shame they faced due to this girl the hero's family go to this fake wedding and finally hero heroine get married.

This completely ruined the experience of an amazing revenge movie for me. Why Bollywood do not experiment with their movies what are they affraid of?

Don't know why.

On a side note, after seeing this movie I thought a different ending for the movie where the hero calls heroine to his home and say:-

"How do you think I become an IAS? Just to take revenge. NO! I loved you and what did you do, you broke me. But, then comes my inspiration, who changed my life for good. Who was there when I needed. Who loved and supported me in my tough time. Meet my fiancee, Prerna (Meaning of Inspiration in Hindi).

We are getting married on Sunday. Shadi mein jaroor aana. (must come to wedding)”

How difficult is it to film a scene with a wild animal attacking the film's star?

In Gladiator , Ridley Scott insisted on having a scene where the circus tigers attack Russell Crowe.

This memorable sequence required a huge amount of preparation and work, while the shots where the tigers appear in action are ultimately very brief.

“Initially, we were going to use trained tigers,” says Neil Corbould, the special effects supervisor. “But when we were shown the trained tigers, we found them a little too wild to do everything with! So Ridley decided to have a fake tiger made for all the close-ups where Russell would have to interact with the animal.”

The fight with the tigers was ultimately achieved using three different special effects.

1-Every time we see a tiger approaching Maximus, it's a composite shot. The trainers simulated tiger attacks in front of a green screen, and these shots were then merged with those of Russell Crowe dodging the animal.

As in these shots (Russell Crowe and the tiger are not actually together):

2-When the tiger is on Maximus' shoulders and attacks him, it is not Russell Crowe, but a trainer.

You can actually see his face in this shot:

3-When Maximus is on the ground with the tiger on him, it is a fake tiger.

A skillful editing technique allows these three special effects to be merged to create a scene that is fluid and impressively realistic.

What was the scene that Madhuri Dixit regretted?

It definitely has to be the intimate and lip-lock kissing scene in the film Dayavan with Vinod Khanna. The song, “Aaj phir tum pe pyar aaya hai', is still remembered for those scenes. No popular actress was ready to do the short role of a prostitute and above that the intimate scene.

Since Madhuri was new at that time she didn't know if she had the right to say no to such things to the director. Madhuri shot the scene but was uncomfortable later. In an interview some four years after the release of the film she admitted that she was sorry about the love making scenes in Dayavan.

There is one more reason why Madhuri regrets the scene. It is said that during the scene Vinod Khanna became uncontrollable and he cut Madhuri Dixit lips. He continued to do so even after the director's cut. Madhuri revealed the fact that both were nervous while doing the scene but Vinod Khanna got carried away and kissed her. There was an apology from Vinod Khanna for the same but the damage was done. Madhuri never worked again with Vinod Khanna in lead role just one film which she had already committed.

No doubt, Madhuri regrets doing the scene at personal level but it made her popular.

What is the most illogical scene in a movie that you can't help but ignore?

 You know it:

Superman: The Movie, 1978.

Lex wins, nuclear missile hits, Lois dies, Superman screams.

So he takes off, flies fast, flips Earth’s rotation, turns back time and everything is great again.

Nope.

Just nope.

Listen, I love Superman, I love Christopher Reeve, I am willing suspend science and critical thought for an Alien who looks like a human, flies, is impervious to weapons, has super strength, is not corrupted by it, has ice breath, laser eyes and finds Margot Kieder attractive. I can even do the red underwear over the pants thing.

HOWEVER!

This scene is beyond stupid.

Let’s break it down:

  1. Superman flying really fast around the Earth would not change the direction of its turn on its axis. It just won’t. Something flying around isn’t what causes the Earth to turn. So this wouldn’t work… But let’s say that it did…
  2. Even if superman managed to stop Earth spinning and then caused it to turn on its axis the other way round… What the fuck does that have to do with time?! Time wouldn’t move backwards. Nothing about the events thus far would change… But let’s say that it did…
  3. Wait? Superman can time travel? Then why not prevent Lex from messing with the missiles in the first place? And you know what? This guy Jonathan Kent could really benefit from a fast trip to the ER. Not to mention Jor El and Lara… I guess Superman didn’t really like his parents…But let’s say that he did…
  4. Superman just killed everybody on Earth and destroyed every building on the planet. I mean, sure, Lex killed some people, people but Superman killed ALL the people! I’m sorry but suddenly stopping and reversing the Earth's rotation would cause cataclysmic damage. Everything and everyone not anchored to the bedrock would be instantly subjected to immense forces due to inertia and if that catapulting didn't kill you, then the massive winds, tsunamis, earthquakes, and the total collapse of all structures, would likely result in global extinction… But - man, this is a tough one - let’s say that it didn’t…
  5. Superman double tapped humanity. He killed everyone, but he needed to make sure. So he stopped the Earth again (!) and then flipped the rotation again. Why does he hate us? Lex at least got a real estate deal done, but Superman? Why?! A potntial hookup? And not a very good one at that. For Miss Teshmucker maybe,… mmmm, Miss Teshmucker… No, focus! Please Batman, stop him! He murdered everyone!… But let’s say that he didn’t…
  6. It wouldn’t matter. If Superman turned back time, it wouldn’t just reverse the Missile hit and Lois’s death, it would place the missile back in trajectory. In a couple of seconds the missile hits again, Lois dies again and if Superman stops it… Well, bye bye Hackensack, New Jersey, the target for the other missile. So… what’s the point?

So in the name of Truth, Justice and the American way I ignored it.

But, seriously, there could have been another way - Superman flies so fast that he just barely manages to stop the 2nd missile, somehow that speed jeopardizes Luis but he manages to - scream, of course and then - get her to a hospital in time, to finish this with dramatic effect and without killing humanity for one reporter. With the most annoying voice ever recorded.
