Vivek Oberoi was also approached to play the lead role in the film Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. but things did not work out.
This happened during the release of Vivek’s film “Company”. Vivek loved the script and initially agreed to do the film.
He even took part in a few workshops but had to decline the role later. Vivek was shooting for other projects simultaneously and could not manage the dates, causing him to back out shortly before filming began.
In later interviews Vivek mentioned that he wanted to do the film but Sanjay Dutt was destined to do the role of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.
