SlOkam 38:
śrutīnām abhisandhiś ca sā eva devī sanātanī |
eṣa eva jagatāṃ prāṇā eṣa eva jagatāṃ kriyā ||
- "She alone is the Eternal Goddess praised in all the Vedas. She is the very life-force of all beings in the universe. She alone is the driving force behind all the actions in the created world of names and forms.”
SlOkam 39:
eṣa eva jagatāṃ icchā jñānam eṣā parāvarā |
eṣa eva sṛjate kāle sā eṣā pāti jagattrayam ||
- "She is the very will (icchā-śakti) of the universe. She is the knowledge and the nobility that sanctifies all things associated with Her. At appointed times, She creates, and in times of crisis, She protects the three worlds.”
SlOkam 40:
jagat saṃharate cānte tattat kāraṇa saṃsthitā |
mātaraṃ jagatāṃ yenām ārādhya mahat kutaḥ ||
- "At the time of the great dissolution, She withdraws all things into their causal state within Herself. She is the Mother of the Universe. How can any great endeavor succeed without worshipping Her first?”
