How does your body warn you one month before a heart attack?

How does your body warn you one month before a heart attack?

I had a heart attack ten years ago, that is, today being 8 December, and it happened on 20 December, thus almost exactly 10 years back. For quite some time before that, off and on for several years, I had the following symptoms. I think much of it was because of high blood pressure, though I am not certain.

Sometimes, though very seldom, I'd feel completely light-headed. I would be at my desk using the computer when I would suddenly feel dizzy for no apparent reason. I sensed it approaching, and the room began to spin around. I needed to grip the desk. At one point, I was even speaking on the phone to someone and had to cope as well as I could.

I suffered severe indigestion daily. I live alone and usually do most of my grocery shopping once a month, around pay day. I would usually buy about 4 big packets of antacid tablets a month. It would usually happen at night when I was going to bed, but sometimes during the day.

I used to have migraines. This only happened from time to time, say once on a Saturday night, not regularly. I would wake up early in the morning Sunday and feel this sensation on the back of my head, which was heavy. I just thought, at first, that "Oh, it's sort of a nuisance. It will pass." But in the morning, it became quite distressing, and the pain was on top of my head. I took some painkillers and went back to sleep. I woke up that morning. My head hurt, and I wasn't very hungry. Later in that morning, the front of my head was pounding, and I felt sick.
