However Handsomeness doesn't mean talent.
Dr.Rajkumar (1929–2006) - the greatest Kannada actor and legend was an handsome gentelmen and known for simplicity and down to earth behavior.
Navarasa Nayaka Jaggesh(b.1963- ) - India's answer to Charlie Chaplin and the most talented actor/artist in Karnataka’s Kannada film industry ever is decent in appearance, but has bundle of talent. He's one of the greatest Indian actors still active and a versatile actor.
Shashi Kumar (b.1965-) was very handsome before the 1998 car accident. He was a good dancer and skilled actor
People would say Anant nag (b.1948-) but he was a Konkani not a kannadiga at all. So his mother tongue is Konkani and he grew up mostly in Mumbai along with his younger brother late Shankar Nag (b.1954–d.1990).
Tamilian V. Ravichandran was handsome actor in younger years but he isn't a kannadiga and cannot be considered as a Kannada hero because his mother tongue is Tamil. He's one of the tamilians who found huge success in Karnataka and kannada film land.
Late Vishnuvardhan(1950–2010) was handsome in his initial years when he was young but in his 40’s and 50’s he wasn't considered handsome because he got diabetes at very young age.
Ambarish(1952–2018) was tall, dusky and handsome but later he too was aged bad and average looking after aging due to his high consumption of Alcohol.
Remake star Sudeep (b.1971- ) at 54 doesn't look handsome but many of his blind fans consider him handsome.
Upendra Rao (n.1968-) was handsome in his younger days due to his punk hairstyle and signature style. He is the most stylish actor in Karnataka Kannada film industry. At 57 years he's looks decent and correct for his age.
