1. First appearance on-screen:

Rishi Kapoor was just three years old when he first appeared on-screen in a song “Pyar Hua, Iqrar Hua Hai” which was from the movie “Shree 420” starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis in lead roles.

2. Child Artist:

Rishi Kapoor played the character of young Raj Kapoor in 1970 released “Mera Naam Joker” for which he also got the National Film Award for the Best Child Artist.

3. Debut in lead role:

Rishi Kapoor’s first lead role was in the film “Bobby” that also starred Dimple Kapadia. He won the Filmfare Award for the Best Actor for his acting performance in the movie.

4. Purpose of making Bobby:

During an interview, Rishi Kapoor revealed that many people think that “Bobby” was made by Raj Kapoor to launch him but in reality, “Bobby” was made for paying the debts of “Mera Naam Joker”.
