What are the weirdest stars in the universe?

The Przybylski's star is the weirdest and, so far, most unexplained star humans have discovered, after the Tabby star about which I have already written.

It lies 356 light-years from Earth, is 40% more massive than the Sun, and is named after a Polish astronomer who discovered it in 1961. Its bizarre nature comes from what we discovered it contains: an abundance of heavy elements, including ones that only have short-lived isotopes, which shouldn’t exist in a star about 1.5 billion years old. Such elements exist for only a few years or less. Furthermore, this star contains lower-than-expected amounts of elements such as iron or nickel.

It’s an enigma where these elements come from, and it's even sparked speculation about alien involvement. Supposingly, this star could be a nuclear waste disposal system for an advanced technological civilization.

Without involving extraterrestrials, there are some options where these elements might come from, but none fully explain what is going on.

Maybe this star swallowed a chunk of waste from neutron star mergers. It could consist of very heavy elements, which are created during kilonovas, the rapid neutron capture or the r-process. These are rare events that synthesize vast amounts of elements such as gold, platinum, uranium, and even heavier atomic nuclei. Perhaps they decay within the Przybylski’s star, and we see the products of this decay. Supernovas can also create debris enriched with high superheavy elemental content. Perhaps this star swallowed some debris from a supernova.

This star is very magnetic. Perhaps this helps sort its elemental content into layers. In this view, Przybylski's star is not weird in its content, but in the distribution of its composition, and what we can detect from Earth are the products of radioactive decay of its bizarrely arranged layers.

One of the more fascinating explanations for the weirdness of this star is that it offers evidence that the nuclear island of stability exists. As we discover more and more heavy elements and their isotopes with more and more neutrons, they are increasingly short-lived, but there is a theory that at some point further out on the Mendeleev elemental table, beyond the heaviest known so far, exist superheavy isotopes with longer half-lives.

The Tabby star, which has mysteriously dimmed on short time spans, recently took all the spotlight, but the Przybylski’s star is equally or even more enigmatic, and we genuinely have no idea what causes its peculiar characteristics. It might be an entirely new phenomenon in science about which we have no idea yet.

What are some of the weirdest facts that hardly anyone knows?

The Mystery of Sleepy Hollow in Kazakhstan

Kalachi, a village in Kazakhstan, got the attention of the government and scientists when villagers started reporting cases of falling asleep in broad daylight -some unable to wake up for several days. It started somewhere around 2013. People also reported memory loss and hallucinations.

one day last summer, Viktor Kazachenko set off across the steppe from his village in northern kazakhstan He was driving to the nearest town on some errands, but he never arrived.

“My brain switched off,” he says. “That’s it. I don’t remember.” Kazachenko had been hit by the so-called “sleeping sickness” that is plaguing Kalachi, a remote village about 300 miles west of the country’s capital Astana.

The mysterious illness has sent residents into comas, sometimes lasting days on end. “I was going to town on 28 August ,” Kazachenko told EurasiaNet.org, still disoriented by the experience. “I came round on 2 September. I understood [on waking up] in the hospital that I’d fallen asleep.”
Kazachenko blacked out while driving his motorcycle, with his wife riding with him.

After conducting more than 20000 tests on air, water, soil, food, humans and animals, over two years ,the government finally declared the mystery as solved.
The disorder was said to be because of carbon monoxide emission from a disused Soviet Uranium mine located near the village.

"The uranium mines were closed at some point, and at times a concentration of carbon monoxide occurs there. The oxygen in the air is reduced accordingly, which is the real reason for the sleeping sickness in these villages," said the former Soviet nation's Deputy Prime Minister Berdibek Saparbaev.

What are the weirdest costumes used in Bollywood songs or movies according to you?

Only Bollywood can unite MCU and DCEU.

They thought this look belongs to 2050, but now it is apt to be worn at a Halloween party.

Can you pull this mustard colour printed shirt like Govinda?

No words for this one.

Who the hell wears a ripped baniyaan ?

Blinding bling.

Salman Khan trying to become He-Man.

Karishma's dress inspired from French maid.

The cousin of WWE belt on Dara Singh.

Manoj Kumar in a tiger striped wig.

Perfect for a Halloween party.

P.S. - Sorry for the image quality.

What are the weirdest movie scenes you have ever come across in Indian movies?

 PHOOL AUR KAANTE :

A debut film is very important for any actor and above that the introductory scene. Ajay Devgun's entry in the film is brilliant as far as action scene is concerned but practically it's strange.

Ever seen someone coming to college like this? Not only using two bikes but also requiring two riders. Above that maintenance of two bikes and not even enjoying the pleasure of riding. A college student or a part of a circus troupe. Looks like the best way to take a piles patient to the hospital.

SHAPATH :

Shapath starred Mithun and Jackie Shroff in lead roles. Mithun is admitted in a hospital as he is shot in the chest. Jackie arrives at the hospital with the heroine and the climax scene is all set in the hospital.

The heroine breaks the fire alarm and all the patients and people are evacuated. While escaping from the hospital Jackie hears a baby crying and saves him by carrying him in his arms.

On the way, for no reason he also breaks the fire alarm, then pulls off an electric wire which causes short circuit. While running his feet catches fire.

Oh My God... What happens next? Baby saves him. How? By pissing, yes the baby pisses off and the fire is extinguished.

Above that Jackie kisses the baby for saving his life. Today the baby must be surely serving the Fire Brigade Department for his extraordinary skills.

CLERK :

Manoj Kumar is a great actor and director who is remembered for his patriotic films. One of his biggest failure as an actor and director was “CLERK”.

Ashok Kumar (who served the army after India attained Independence and is retired receiving a meager pension) suffers a heart attack. When the doctor refuses to attend (as Manoj Kumar had no money to pay his fees), he comes up with this brilliant idea to save Ashok Kumar with the help of two battery cells.

Wonder where he is going to put those battery cells?

HIS ACTION PLAN : He inserts the battery cells in a tape recorder after which a patriotic song is played.

Ashok Kumar listens the song. Suddenly his heart stars pumping and he jumps off the bed. After dancing for a while he switches off the tape recorder saying, “Ab main theek ho gaya hoon.” (I am okay).

Moral of the story: Batteries can act as life saver in case of heart attacks.

PLEASE NOTE : The presentation of the scene may have crossed the logical boundaries but in no regards the answer is against the feeling of patriotism.
