After the massive success of Saajan the same template was used in Dil ka Kya kasoor. A poet/poetess writing for a performer in a disguised form not letting the other know of their feelings. Result is a love triangle, heartbreak, lots of emotions, songs etc. The difference is that Dil ka Kya Kasoor ends on a sad note.
The film is a bit slow paced which can test your patience at times. Even though the performances are decent to good I felt Prithvi didn't had the screen presence to hold the attention of the audience. Divya Bharti looks like a doll and acts ably (though at times she has the tendency to over react ins scenes). One Good thing about this film is that there are no villains in the film and the film doesn't indulge in Dishoom Dishoom (mindless action)
Music is terrific and perhaps the best thing about the film. Mera Sanam sabse Pyara hai, Dil Jigar Nazar kya hai, Milne ki tum koshish karna, Gaa raha hun is mehfil me etc are hummable songs. Even though I felt that the songs picturised on Prithvi lack the energy and his dancing is not upto the mark.
Nope, not even close to Sushant Singh Rajput!!
Divya and Sushant both died prematurely and sadly!!
The film flopped badly despite its successful soundtrack perhaps due to new actors who couldn't carry the film on their shoulders or because of the same story repeated from Saajan with a few twists here and there.
