Are all criminals bad?

Rehman Baloch : He was notorious criminal of Karachi and convicted of 100 crimes.

Public : Baloch saw in him a powerful icon; who could speak and stood for them in time of distress.

Politics : Cops called him dacoit ;but politicians and press depicted him as Rehman Baloch.

His support was sought by many political parties of Pakistan.

Power broker : Political analysts point out ; he was like a power broker during his heydays.

Philanthropy : It may sound strange ; he built hospitals ; schools; parks and residential colonies in lyari.

Interestingly, he popularized football tournaments in Karachi neighborhoods.

Poignant : His poignant childhood and youth proverbially conditioned him to become a mobster.

Pathetic : Well, as an adolescent ; he had killed his own mother in fit of rage.

He made his henchmen play football with heads of his murdered rivals.

Facts : He was neither a hero nor a villain ; but victim of circumstances.

No wonder , his controversial death became a major political turmoil in Pakistan.
