In a career spanning more than four decades, Anupam Kher has done over 550 films. Recently, he signed Khosla Ka Ghosla 2 which officialy makes him achieve the above mentioned number.
Anupam Kher is an extraordinary versatile actor who moves effortlessly between comedy, intense drama and villainous roles showcasing deep emotional depth and commanding presence.
Be it playing an elderly father in his first film Saaransh or providing comedic relief in films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Lamhe or Darr, he shows 100% sincerety into his scenes.
His sharp comic timing, witty dialogue delivery and unique facial expressions are top class. His seamless transitions between humour and emotions (which is seen in many of his films) also deserve a mention.
As a villian, he was able to portray diverse shades of antagonism from menancing pyschopaths to subtle corrupt figures. He showcased different shades of negative roles, be it psychopath villian in Karma, comedy antagonist in Hum or normal respectable villian in Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
