For a vegetarian, being in Indore will feel like you’ve died and gone to street food heaven especially while visiting Chappan Dukan, the 56 shops that offer a mind-numbing array of snacks, and the stalls at old Sarafa Bazaar that open at sundown. Here you get street food 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Firstly, the snack that every Indori swears and lives by
Poha Jalebi - It contains cooked Poha (flattened rice) and is usually served with a unique combination of Jalebi (called Poha-Jalebi combined), Sev, Usal, sliced onions and funnel seeds.
Bhutte ka kees - Bhutte ka kees is essentially mashed boiled corn lightly spiced with fennel seeds, cumin and dried mango powder and garnished with chewy grated coconut.
Khopra Patties - Delicious balls of fried potato with a surprise coconut centre dunked in an unhealthy amount of green and red chutneys.
Garadu - an Indori speciality of small cubes of yam that have been fried and sprinkled with spices to make a delicious crispy chaat.
Dahi Bada - This tasty snack consist of fried urad dal dumplings dunked in a creamy whipped yogurt topped with spicy and sweet chutneys.

Jaleba – The biggest jalebi you will ever see
Kulfi Faluda - A rich and delicious summer dessert with kulfi and topped with falooda, sabja seeds, rose syrup and dry fruits.
