Why was India known as the Golden Bird (Sone ki Chidiya) in the ancient times?

Richest : According to financial and political analysts ;Sri Padmanabhaswamy shrine (8th century CE ) at Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala holds more than 1 trillion dollars treasure. It happens to be the richest shrine in entire world.

Expensive : Peacock Throne or bejeweled “Takht E Taus” used by Shah Jahan was twice expensive than Taj Mahal . It was designed by Austin de Bordeaux, who also designed Taj Mahal. Its worth was allegedly around 1 billion US dollars.

Costliest : According to jewelry experts; Nizam of Hyderabad owned the costliest necklace. It’s worth is around 66.3 millions pounds. It was a wedding gift to then Princess (now Queen) Elizabeth 2nd by Nizam Asaf Jah.

In short, the wonder that was India.
