• Hritik and Kareena first met on the sets of Yaadein. ( 2001 )
• They started getting along and soon it started an affair between the two.
• The two also shared a cozy moment in the flight back to India after shooting for the film.

• Hritik was married way back then.
• The news spread and reached Hritik's then wife Sussane Khan's father Sanjay Khan.
• Sanjay Khan is said to have links with Dawood Ibrahim.
• He called Rakesh Roshan and Hritik Roshan for a meeting at his house and threatened them.
• He threatened them to death if Hritik leaves Sussane for Kareena.
• Hritik decided to save his married life and parted ways from Kareena.

• Their last film remains Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon in 2003.
• Karan Johar in a failed attempt for his movie Shuddhi thought of bringing them back together.
• However, each of them rejected after hearing the Co - Star's names.
• Karan Johar shelved the Project saying he cannot imagine the lead cast anyone other than Hritik and Kareena.
